Review titled Bad experience
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Zoe Dent - Posted on 06 October 2024
Terrible experience, unprofessional staff. I’m very upset . Procedure rushed, I have been devastated since my experience at Sir Robert Peel. It was a hysteroscopy. I was subjected to a discussion about a delivery instead of receiving support when I was in a lot of pain. Left as soon as I could. Would never go back.

Had some physiotherapy after a referral from GP. Perfect treatment from start to finish, reception staff were friendly and physio staff were knowledgeable, attentive and genuinely concerned with fixing the issue. I am now on the road to recovery and really pleased with advice and exercises provided via an iPhone app. This is how the NHS should be! Thank you.

I took my Mom after Gp recommended she had X-ray after a fall. The service received was brilliant- no waiting to be seen, mom was treated throughout with care and compassion. Just faultless care.

I was referred to the Physiotherapy Department at The Robert Peel Hospital to undergo treatment for a Shoulder problem. I cannot thank the Staff enough for the treatment I received. Nothing was too much trouble, my queries were answered I was shown how to perform exercises I was unsure about and encouraged to continue the progress I had made. I know how busy Hospital Staff are these days so thank you for the time and reassurance you gave me.

I had to visit for chest X-ray. The two ladies in reception in the X-ray department and the lady who did my X-ray were so very kind and looked after me so well. They deserve to be praised. Thank you all

Having visited Robert Peel Hospital for the first time with my elderly mother who was very anxious about a procedure she was having done in the day case unit, I can only say how impressed I was with the hospital from start to finish including receptionists at the entrance and the caring nurses. My mother said they were so kind to her in the department with one nurse holding her hand all the way through the procedure. The surgeon and his team were excellent and reassured my mother all the way through the procedure. A nurse brought my mother through to the cafe area where I was waiting with a receptionist assisting us to the car with a wheelchair . Having experienced many hospitals in my lifetime both for myself and various family members I can only say they were all outstanding and a credit to their profession

I attended minor injuries with split stitches after recent surgery. I had problems as the the bleeding would not stop. A number of nursing professionals saw me to add their weight of knowledge to end the day with my wound stable and back on the road to recovery. Thankyou all.

Review titled Excellent friendly staff and service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sam Coleman - Posted on 12 April 2023
Attended Minor injuries yesterday with back issues. The receptionist was friendly in checking my details, seen within 1 hour by a lovely male nurse and Student nurse, the nurse who could see I was suffering with my pain arranged an out of hours appointment with the Gp later that night. I was truly grateful for this kind gesture as I hadn’t sleep well for nearly two weeks. Later that evening I was seen by again another very attentive Gp who proceeded to give medical care that evening to see me the to collect my prescription the following morning. NHS is an absolute god send and they deserve to be shown that respect backin pay. Great team work guys, keep up the good work, you are Angels x

From my arrival at the Day Case area of the hospital, until my departure after an endoscopy, I was treated with the utmost kindness and respect by every member of staff who spoke to me. It is always an anxious time, having a procedure, however, I am so pleased that my investigation was at this hospital.
