  1. Review titled Excellent care and attention

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Angela C - Posted on 07 February 2023

I was admitted to su2 after my gp referred me with chronic stomach pain and vomitting. Iwas put onto a drip and antibiotics straight away and awaited a scan. This showed a burst appendix. I was informed i would be operated on that evening. I was kept informed when an emergency delayed my op. I was taken at mifnight to have my appendix removed. I cannot fault the care and attention nothing was too much trouble on b1 and su2 were fantastic. I am recovering at home and appreciate everything they did for me. Thank you so much x

  2. Review titled Pelvic floor physiotherapy

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Had my appointment today after being referred from a Dr I saw in Eurology. The person who saw me today was very kind, especially about my miscarriage. They were also professional and friendly, giving me good advice. They were thorough in their questioning to try figure out the problem. They handled a physical exam sensitively and professionally with good humour too. Shout out to the person at the front desk of main reception for giving me a print out of directions to the right building - super handy. Premises are really tidy and calm too.

  4. Review titled Fantastic care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Paula - Posted on 23 July 2023

My husband was on cc2 for almost two months and I cannot say how greatfull I am to all the amazing staff , from the night nurse who watched films with my husband because he couldn't sleep , to the lovely nurse who made a putting green so my husband could try and move his hand, thank you so much for what you did. The staff saw my husband at his worst and not only look after him but the family to, I don't think we would have got through this without all your love and support. Also to the receptionist who did some lip reading because we could not understand what my husband was trying to say, and for the endless cups off tea you gave us when the news wasn't great

  5. Review titled Waiting time

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by James - Posted on 01 March 2023

Currently sat in A&E 8 1/2 have passed and they say it shouldn’t be too long. Asked at the 6 hour mark to be second in line. Plus sorry as always under staffed at present. The health system is failing the public. An 80 year female should not be waiting over 8 hours to be seen in this current era.

  7. Review titled Amazing care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Daniel Brown - Posted on 06 February 2023

Visited A&E suspecting a possible stroke. Was seen within 5 minutes and directly referred to the stroke team. The stroke nurse was amazing throughout, making sure I had bloods, scans and other tests super fast . Luckily not a stroke but have been referred through their virtual ward for and MRI within 48 hours and an appointment with consultant. I could not have asked for better care or faster treatment. Thank you

  10. Review titled Professionalism, knowledge and willing to help.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Emilia - Posted on 15 January 2023

Every person I met was very nice, very helpful and with huge knowledge. Despite the behavior of some patients (not very polite and nice), each of the medical staff was professional, did not escalate the conflict and calmed the atmosphere. I did not required a bed but fell asleep sitting up, when I asked if I could lie down, the nurse brought a bed for me and even the lack of free rooms, I was able to sleep. I was helped at the highest level of professionalism and knowledge. Yes, I had waited a long time to see a doctor, but I wasn't in a hotel, I was in the E&A department, and my life wasn't in danger any more. I thank from the bottom of my heart to everyone who was on duty on Friday night, from ambulance crew to nurseries and doctor. As a person with a risk of anaphylactic reaction, I visited other E&A across Manchester (unfortunately) and Salford Royal has the highest standards and professionalism. Thank you again.
