  1. Review titled Excellent care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 November 2022

I attended A and E with abdominal pain. They were extremely thorough with their investigations before admitting me. The nurses and support staff were always friendly, helpful and professional with good communication all the way. I really could not fault the care I received during my stay. I am now in the discharge hub waiting to be collected and the staff and care here is first class as well - a great asset to the hospital!!

  2. Review titled Polite patients ...rude staff!

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Claire smith - Posted on 09 October 2022

Reception staff very friendly and tried to help in a busy stressful time. Every nurse I met sadly about 7 were so rude...never came with help of thing requested like pain relief! Help with water cup...just a really scary experience...praying for the nhs...and I am not even religious! Sorry also triage room so small nightmare and no privacy at all if if a wheelchair! Also disabled loo by reception is so small I couldn't get my standard wheel in it and turn.

  4. Review titled Lovely nurses

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Steve Holder - Posted on 23 October 2022

Over the last year I’ve had to have quite a few scans. On each occasion the nurses were so lovely and fun even though they were rushed off their feet and trying to deal with so many people at the same time ! They made me feel so at ease, especially as I’m kind of squeamish about this kinda thing. They need a massive pay rise !!

  5. Review titled Cardio heros

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Theresa Cooper - Posted on 18 January 2023

Taken by ambulance to the ruh after suffering a heart attack. After a short stay in a&e i was transferred to the medical assessment unit and then onto Bsy 4 of the cardic ward. All staff especially the hca's were amazing although rushed off their feet nothing was too much trouble. Reassurance given when needed. Advice and clear explanations of treatment given. I was shocked at their workload but staff carried out their workload with a warm smile. Shockingly the way in which some patients think its ok to speak staff is appalling! Hats off to all you lovely cardio heros ignore these people you are amazing.

  6. Review titled Amazing care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 October 2022

Out of the blue whilst visiting Bath, I ended up in A&E after suffering a severe asthma attack and nearly died. The paramedic undoubtedly saved my life. Upon arrival at hospital, the care and attention I received was nothing short of exceptional. Every single member of staff was a credit to the NHS.

  7. Review titled First visit and hope my last

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Dan - Posted on 13 September 2022

Experience with staff was fine, just the usual very busy and over worked people. The facilities and parking are so poor at this place though, it’s almost unbelievable. Firstly, the lack of healthy food options blows my mind. I take good care of myself and what goes into my body, I was hungry (after an hour trying to park) but no time to think in detail as was going to be late for my appointment. Basically I could find one healthy thing outside of fruit, as well a know obesity drains the NHS significantly so stop making it easier for overweight and obese people to get more unhealthy. Finally the parking, I am here for a hip issue and do not live in bath. I agree on pushing public transport but how many people can take a whole day to travel here if not in bath? In the end I have had to leave my car and walk further than is actually physically comfortable, arriving at my appointment in pain. Disgusting to be honest, and a sign of how far the NHS has fallen. I am fortunate in future I can consider private healthcare…..I fear for those who cannot.
