  1. Review titled Nice calming atmosphere

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Janice - Posted on 19 June 2025

Eyes are scary. I was like the proverbial swan, composed on the surface but I was scared stiff in reality. The team here were totally chilled which passed on to me They were friendly and professional and gave you a feeling of trust. Even in today’s hot weather, the place was cool and orderly. In terms of accessibility, there are no issues as there are no steps, the taxi can pull up at the door and it is only a few steps around the department to see each of the team.

  2. Review titled Great Service shame about appointement system

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 23 June 2025

Nothing to complain about the service from the orthodontist they are great , however the new system for booking appointments what a backward step. Previously you walked out from your appointment opened your diary and spoke to the front desk and found a suitable time. All done and walked away. Now you have to wait for a message/letter days letter with an appointment date and time , which obviously will not be any good for you. So you now have to phone up the hospital and wait for ages to get answered and then change the appointment to a time you can make , which you would have done previously when leaving the hospital. This is progress ????? No wonder the NHS is going down hill with changes like this.

From the efficiency of triage to seeing a Doctor the staff were helpful and chatty. The A&E was very clean.

  5. Review titled Blood Tests - Booking on-line

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 June 2025

I find the quality of the blood testing service offered via QA (specifically including at Petersfield Hospital) to be excellent. However, the telephone booking service for an appointment is appalling with lengthy waits (20 minutes plus) just to speak to "the first available operator". I can book a trip to my local recycling centre on-line ("the local tip") in a few moments and without needless involvement with any human operator! Please save NHS staffing costs and introduce such an on-line scheme as soon as possible.

  6. Review titled A very professional team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had an appointment at Urology and the two ladies were so kind and professional, they explained clearly and in simple terms what the procedure was and what would happen. On completion they informed me of the results and the next step. As a 75 year old man who was very concerned they did a marvellous job and need to get a huge thank you from me.

  8. Review titled Exemplary treatment and care.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Philip Smith - Posted on 31 March 2025

I would like to express my mist sincere thanks to everyone at QA who were involved in my treatment and care.I was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the end of September 2024,had my prostate and lymph nodes removed by a robot assisted operation in early February 2025.I was given the results of that operation in March by the surgeon who had carried out the operation;the outcome was the best I could have hoped for and I am making a good recovery.I wanted to thank everyone for what they have done for me,after a difficult and worrying time. The people who did the scans, people who interpeted the scans, the anaesthetists, theatre nurses, nurses in recovery, all the nurses and doctors on the ward and not forgetting the surgeon who performed the operation,I owe you all a truly heartfelt thankyou.I will never forget what you all have done for me.

  9. Review titled Exceptional care and treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Peter Hedger - Posted on 11 February 2025

28th january admitted to the emergency dept with Atrial Fribulation, care by all staff was immediate and I was made relaxed and kept informed at all stages. Attended by cardiology doctor and nurses. Transferred to c7 ward where the care and support by all staff, cleaners, catering, ward management, nurses anddoctors was exceptional. 4th February procedure to insert a pacemaker was efficient, with every stage explained. Discharged later the same day with comprehensive information and dates for follow-up appointments. I could not have been treated better anywhere else. I am absolutely impressed by the whole experience and would like to pass on my thanks to everyone involved.

  10. Review titled Could do better

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Derby - Posted on 08 January 2025

Arrived at Accident and Emergency department with my daughter who had chopped the top of her thumb off on a circular saw. Receptionist seemed very pleased to tell us that her injury was not treated her and we had to go elsewhere. Bare in mind my daughters blood, pain and fear, she could of had a professional make an assement or at least explained why. We left and went elsewhere where we cannot but praise Petersfield hospital staff. Come on QA, either be an Accident and Emergency centre or change your signs or retrain your receptionist to be polite and understanding ?
