  1. Review titled No communication

Rated 1 star out of 5

My 92 year old Mom went to AMU for a scan on Monday 28th December 2022, which she eventually got, then had to wait for an MRI which showed she has got cancer of the spine. Consultant said he was waiting to hear from Oncologist,Which did not happen. My sister took Mom home and was told they would hear something on Wednesday which didn't happen. Sister tried ringing but got no joy from either oncologist or consultant. This lack of communication for someone who has cancer is just killing us as a family, we should be trying to sort end of life care but cannot do anything until we hear from the hospital. Come on Princess Royal get yourself together and start caring.

  2. Review titled TIA clinic

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Alison Leigh - Posted on 28 October 2022

The staff in TIA clinic were reassuring and informative. The receptionist explained what would happen, the HCA who did my Obs was efficient but engaging and the Consultant was reassuring and explained clearly what had happened , he was thorough even though he seemed sure of the diagnosis very quickly. Thank you all so much for taking care of me. It may seem a small thing but we were offered a cup of tea and that is caring attention to detail.

  3. Review titled Fantastic inpatient maternity care

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I was admitted to the antenatal ward at PRH for induction of labour due to some health problems. The staff were welcoming, and explained the process and what options I had clearly. I ended up needing to stay in for several days before there was a bed available on the delivery unit, throughout this time my baby was closely monitored, and they kept me updated about the wait for a bed. Once a bed was available on the delivery unit, I was transferred immediately, the next steps were explained, and things moved quickly. We ended up needing some assistance with the delivery and the consultant and team who came in to help deliver our baby were fantastic. We then spent 36 hours on the postnatal ward where I and baby were really well looked after. I received especially fantastic support with breastfeeding, and credit being able to breastfeed successfully to the staff on the postnatal ward. On each ward, all the staff (midwives, student midwives, maternity support workers and doctors) introduced themselves, explained things clearly, and were both knowledgable and passionate about their job. I can't thank everyone enough for the safe arrival of our baby, and the fantastic care we both received.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Am eternally grateful to the staff of the ENT dept, after having nasal camera that looked into my throat, a problem I've experienced for over 10 years and thought to be with my lungs ,was shown to be coming from my throat . The staff could not have been more helpful in showing and explaining what I was looking at .They are disgussing everything with a consultant so am now waiting to hear from them . 10 years of thinking and worrying about a copd diagnosis that never was ...I must mention this diagnosis was not made at Telford .Thank you again ladies, you both took years of stress and worry away in minutes.
