Rated 2 stars out of 5

I waited overand hour after my appointment time. Nobody was seen in that time. The doctor was in the room with no patient and nobody explained why there was much a delay.

  2. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Diane - Posted on 04 July 2024

I had a problem with one of my eyes, which was causing me some concern. The nursing staff who I saw after a very short wait were so lovely and reassuring. After a thorough examination, diagnosis and course of treatment advised, I left the Eye Unit within 45minutes of arriving. Thankyou so much for all that you do. Being able to walk in and be treated was great and so very much appreciated.

  4. Review titled Efficient professional and caring staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended the emergency eye clinic early today with persistent pain following the arrival of floaters in my right eye. The efficiency, professionalism and care shown from the moment of arrival to departure was exemplary. This is surely the NHS at its very best and it’s clearly made possible by the staff and medical professionals who work in the Prince Charles Eye Unit. Thank you!

  7. Review titled Great service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Andy Piggott - Posted on 19 April 2024

Arrived at hospital, parking easy (unexpected as near centre of Windsor). One hour later I had been processed by two nurse practitioners and an ophthalmic doctor. Result was reassurance about my condition and I was on my way home.

  8. Review titled Amazing team.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 March 2024

I had to visit the eye A&E and was terribly nervous. I was treated with such kindness both by a lovely nurse and by the ophthalmologist. They were patient, kind and understanding and thoroughly examined my eye, painlessly, and giving me my diagnosis. I thoroughly recommend this unit.

  9. Review titled Extremely rude triage nurse

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 February 2024

I came to the Charles Eye until emergency with my child today and was shocked how the woman in triage spoke to us. We waited an hour to be seen by the triage person who didn’t say who she was and didn’t listen to us. She was patronising and really is a bad example of how patients should be treated by staff. The receptionist was perfectly friendly so this one bad apple spoils the reputation of the department.
