  1. Review titled Exceptional in All Respects

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Andy - Posted on 28 January 2023

My Aunt was brought in after another fall but this time she had fractured her vertebrae and hip. The ambulance service were amazing and the A&E staff at North Middlesex exceptional. Unfortunately she later died while still in A&E but all the staff, doctors and consultants treated her and us with unbelievable care and compassion even though they were busy. The nurses and doctors kept us informed of her condition and prognosis, and all ensured that her last hours were comfortable and surrounded by caring people. I would like to thank all the front line staff and those behind the scenes that ensured her last hours were extremely comfortable. Thank you.

  3. Review titled Faultless care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had a miscarriage in December and couldn't fault the care I had from everyone - in A&E, the women's ambulatory day unit and surgery. Everyone was exceptionally kind and caring, particularly the people on the women's day unit who do an amazing, difficult job. I'm very grateful for the care I received and would recommend North Mid to anyone needing early pregnancy care.

My father was left unclean and rarely visited by a nurse, and when we finally did find one in the topaz ward, after numerous attempts , she was extremely unhelpful and kept us waiting

  5. Review titled Good medical care, inpatient food service terrible

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 17 November 2022

I’ve been in 2 days, on first day my lunch never appeared. The guy asking people what they wanted was extremely brusque, did not really care, basically shouted 3 menu items at me and was gone in 10 seconds. Second day I asked for toast: brown? it looked like someone had only held a lighted match underneath it it was so white. And no knife to put the butter on with. Next meal: I ordered Salmon. Was given omelette. Oh yes they said, we ran out of Salmon. Okay I said but did anyone ask if I actually like Omelette? Of course not. Careless Careless Careless and they don’t care at all. I know it’s not a huge deal and that there are many much more important things to worry about, but come on…. at least try to do it properly. Food is an important part of peoples recovery. Is it acceptable to leave patients un-nourished and hungry? I am hungry and Seriously considering ordering a pizza delivery.
