  1. Review titled Pacemaker replacement

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mr Neville Keith Brown - Posted on 24 April 2023

I had a pacemaker replaced 22-04-23. Everything very efficient and quick. Do not live in Norwich and do not have a car so the pre assessment phone call was wonderful. Had my yearly check 22-02-23 and found I needed a replacement pacemaker. By the 22-04-23 new one fitted. Male & female nurses were so kind . Well Done everyone.

  2. Review titled Great experience sdem medical

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Jill Staines - Posted on 21 March 2023

Sent here by my gp and nervous about it after 2 awful experiences in a&e last year involving hours of waiting and overcrowding in a depressing area. It couldn't have been more different. Only a handful of people waiting. Blood pressure, ecg and bloods done soon after arrival and only a short wait to see the doctor. He seemed to have plenty of time for me and such a personable guy. The whole area was bright, very clean and all the staff were so friendly. I don't know if a&e has improved but there was no comparison between the a&e of summer 2022 and the sdem of March 2023.

  4. Review titled Can't thank enough

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Harriet Mobbs - Posted on 01 April 2023

From reception staff all the way up to consultant. The professionalism, team work and empathy shown was phenomenal. This resounded all the way through from there to theatre and wards. The whole experience be it over 2yrs In The process. But when it came to the crunch and the operation had to happen. There was no faltering anything. Even down to the catering and cleanliness of the hospital. I am in debited to all the people who made my life better. I thank you

  5. Review titled Outstanding, Compassionate care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Tina & Graeme Smith - Posted on 31 March 2023

Sadly my 91yr old mother in law died in A&E today. Our time spent in resus was lengthy but the treatment from the Doctorst and nurses was outstanding, they were so caring and compassionate to all of us, always checking we were ok and when the end came staying with me, giving me much needed support. They thought of every single tiny detail to make it less traumatic for us, from the moment we got there til saying goodbye to us at the doors. We will be forever thankful for how they made a bad day a bit easier.

  7. Review titled Excellent care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 02 May 2023

My 15 year old son broke his leg quite badly in early February. The care & compassion he has recieved, and continues to recieve, from every hospital employee we have come into contact with has been outstanding. From the paramedics who helped to get him out of the back of my car when I arrived at a & e with him, to the nurses on the ward during his week long stay, to the hospital porters who transported him to & from theatre and made us both laugh, to his excellent surgeon, the anaesthetists, the orthopaedic nurses. Everyone has been professional & kind & helped my son get back on his feet again. I honestly have nothing negative to say about our time at the hospital. Thankyou so much.

I have for several Months been receiving ongoing treatment from the respiratory department at the Hospital, including regular pre booked telephone appointments from respiratory nurses. I have to say my care I have received has been amazing nothing has been to much trouble for them, they are always available for help and advice. An extremely efficient department at the Hospital. Thank you all

  10. Review titled CT results not given

    by Dee59 - Posted on 03 February 2023

During a breast cancer radiotherapy plotting CT last September it was discovered I had a nodule and consolidation on my lung. I was informed of this by telephone in September, and told not to worry. The hospital also advised that they wouldn't do another CT for 12 weeks, this would be in order to look for any changes from the initial CT. This left me very apprehensive as 12 weeks seemed a very long time to wait, especially as I had only recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. My CT appointment was in December, which I attended. It is now the first week in February and I have heard nothing from the NNUH. I am presuming that no news is good news. I am still very apprehensive about the results and receiving some form of reassurance from the hospital would put my mind at rest somewhat.
