Review titled terrible hospital
Rated 1 star out of 5

my stepson was in green zone level 3 and the help that he got was appalling, they left him in pain and they did finally come to help they said he will have to wait to se a doctor? they then gave him an aspirin?then left him, people was pressing buzzers on the ward but they was ignored, nurses just sitting around on mobile phones or looking at a computer screen, the only ones that seemed a little bit helpful was the ones with a tea trolly who said they would get someone two hours later we was told the same thing you will have to wait to se a doctor as he has already had pain relief? oh yes the aspirin.shame on that hospital

Review titled the worst service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Hello People - Posted on 29 July 2024
to say that I am disappointed is to say nothing. Yesterday I had the most disgusting reception in my life. The shift that worked from 15-30 to 16-30 was the most disgusting! (blue zone). I was not provided with medical assistance. I have breast cancer (my breasts were swollen, red and very hot) and yesterday I had a very high temperature. How could this be? If it weren’t for my husband and neighbors who saved me with improvised means. I would have survived this night I didn’t survive. People, I wish you all good health!🙏🙏🙏

Review titled Awful nurses with attitude
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Gary Snewing - Posted on 03 July 2024
4 hours ago haughtier was told to ring to arrange to be collected, meds still not arrived, nurses seem happy to chuckle amongst themselves then develop a bad attitude when questioned in the Discharge suite. Ambulance staff also complaining of rudeness of nurses. Never had a good experience here, it just gets worse. I never complain about the NHS but this is hospital is just beyond a joke.

Great service from the hepatology secretary today . She was helpful, efficient and kindly and managed to sort out my issue immediately whilst I was on the phone, with a confirmation email received at the same time. Thank you.

My son had an accident at school and we went to Children’s accident and emergency. They assessed him, had an x-ray and treated him in less than 1.5 hours. Friendly and efficient staff. Very positive experience.

Review titled Amazing from start to finish
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Rebecca Street - Posted on 19 June 2024
I took my daughter to see Dr. P at Medway for her ongoing ear, nose, and throat issues. This was our first visit, and I was nervous that they might dismiss our concerns and not recommend a tonsillectomy. However, Dr. P exceeded my expectations. He was wonderful with my daughter—engaging, reassuring, and humorous. More importantly, he listened attentively to my concerns about her sleep apnea, chronic sore throat, and overall quality of life, and he empathised with our situation. He agreed immediately that a tonsillectomy was necessary, without any hesitation. The pre-op appointment was smooth, and they went above and beyond by addressing my concerns about her excessive sleeping and stomach aches, even conducting a blood test that revealed an iron deficiency. On the day of the surgery, the nurses made the entire process seamless and reassuring. The caring environment was evident, with the children involved in every step, keeping us well-informed, and making us feel welcome. This helped my daughter feel happy and secure before her procedure. This experience has transformed my perception of the NHS and restored my confidence in receiving attentive and high-quality care. Thank you to everyone involved—your dedication ensured that my daughter left the hospital happy and with hope for improved health. The entire process was smooth and inclusive, with no issues at all.

From the start to the end Medway Bowel Screening service is first class. A big thank you to all of the staff who cared for me during a recent colonoscopy. It meant a great deal to be treated by competent staff who showed kindness & reassurance.
