I have seen this doctor twice now and both times he has been helpful and has made me feel comfortable about my problems and he also made me understand what is happening by talking me through the procedure that is required great guy

Review titled Extremely disappointing
Rated 1 star out of 5

An hour after our appointment time my son was seen. After repeating his entire medical history for umpteenth time - the service provider still seemed disengaged and disinterested. Our total experience with NHS ENT has been shocking and poor. Telling a parent a child needs to experience 5-10 ear infections before you’d think about doing grommets - even though the child has been infection free for a year while having grommets - makes no sense. Why drain what little resources you have on reactive care when you are being told by the parents that reactive care will have much better results. I have left another NHS ENT appointment feeling lost, unheard, and more like a nuisance than a patient. I’m shocked, perplexed, and disappointed in your idea of care and support.

Review titled Excellent service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was taken into a&e by ambulance and assisted immediately. The nurse (A.r.a.) was so kind and attentive. Doctor d. from orthopaedics was beyond. He investigated thoroughly and expalined clearly all. I am so grateful. Such professional and compassionate attitude.

Review titled Amazing care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Joanna Lennon - Posted on 12 May 2024
I had day surgery for gallbladder removal. I was very nervous. I suffer with anxiety and I found everyone helped me and looked after me as if I was part of their family. My nurse who looked after me jenifer in day surgery unit was one of a kind and I couldn’t have asked for a better nurse, aswell as the nurse (mj) who was by my side when I woke up and made me feel such ease. The surgern and anaesthesiologist made sure I understood everything and supported me well. Thank you so much everyone in the surgical department and day surgery unit.

Review titled Worst experience at A&E
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Venkatesh - Posted on 11 April 2024
We visited the emergency department because my wife was experiencing bleeding during her pregnancy. Despite waiting for four hours, we have yet to receive any medical attention from a doctor. I understand there is a queue and all patients are here with some major concern but with due respect it doesnt make any sense to let the women bleed for 4-5hrs and leave her in pain especially during pregnancy. We are clueless and no words to describe the mental pressure!!

Review titled Wait times for vulnerable elderly
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 07 February 2024
Asked to go in at 9am for tests due to stroke, tests done, by 10am, seen by 4pm, told to wait as they are admitting, no time line given, 6pm, enquiries made and all that's said is it's a long long long long long wait, and self discharge means you lose you spot for a bed, then they advise could take all night, this is an elderly lady who is vulnerable and had a stroke and these are the updates, unacceptable

Review titled Outstanding surgeon
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Androulla Veliotou - Posted on 21 February 2024
I was operated on 8/2 after being transferred to Astor Ward via A&E in what was to be an easy cholecystectomy. As it turned out, it was a highly complex laparoscopic procedure. I had no idea how it went until the surgeon came by in person the next day. I was overwhelmed to find out that the procedure hadn't been straightforward and in fact, a slightly less experienced and skilled laparoscopic surgeon would have opted for open surgery or worse... Instead, this talented surgeon, that Kingston Hospital is truly lucky to have, at the end of a long day, and having been in surgery for many hours the previous day too, kept his nerve and dealt with and completed my procedure with an advanced clean laparoscopic outcome. This outcome allowed me to avail of my strength to make a full recovery with no disruption to my personal or professional life. Every day I feel more and more humbled and appreciative of the enormous dedication of this outstanding surgeon. I also need to mention that he is assisted by a very talented team, and that this surgical ensemble is cutting through procedures at a tremendous rate, bringing relief to so many women. I should mention the personable and talented anaesthetists who attended to me. I take a moment to mention the day team of nurses and the sister, a meticulous hard-working person, who besides having to concentrate on her own tasks is also training the next generation. Shout out to care assistants, rushed off their feet but with a strong sense of humour... no situation too gross! Thank you to the night nurse for that lovely cup of tea after surgery and for the angel who was there when I woke up in the recovery room. Thank you to the awesome controller for removing my drip and discharging me.

Review titled There are no words

Medical analysis of my condition was minimal. I remain very unwell. I might as well have not bothered to go to any doctor at all as I ended up in agony in teddington walk in clinic after seeing kingstons experts. Well at least they got me off their waiting list double quick so their stats look good.
