All the staff we were supported by (and there were alot!) were absolutely amazing. There were serious unexpected complications and I was rushed into theatre. All the staff, including midwives, trainee midwives and surgeons were beyond professional and caring. During a terrifying experience they all acted so fast and went out of their way to reassure both me and my husband throughout the entire process and kept us aware of everything that was happening. The staff were so caring and fantastic, we cannot praise them enough and want to say a massive thank you to all of them.

I needed to contact the Cardiology department in an emergency. After one unsuccessful attempt, I made it through to a secretary, who immediately connected me to a suitable team member to answer my query - which allowed my father's MRI to go ahead as scheduled. Every team member I spoke to was helpful, friendly and understanding. Thank you.

I had my surgery on the 31st March. From the minute I got to the hospital every staff member was amazing. Everyone in day case reassured me and supported me upto the moment I had surgery. When I woke up all the team was caring and ensured I had everything I needed. When I was transferred onto ward 31 Every staff member was outstanding. They treated with me respect and was very caring.

I spent 5 days on ward 12. Every member of staff treated me with respect and care. Everyone was kind and helped to make what could have been a scarey experience as pleasant as possible. Well done everyone.

Attended Mansfield Community Hospital for an x-ray on 24th March 2023 and I was called by the radiologist earlier than my specified time. He was very helpful and efficient. I was very impressed with the whole process from arriving in the car park through the self check in and the appointment itself.

I had prostate surgery and two weeks post op I suddenly developed heavy bleeding with clot retention and acute retention of urine. I attended A and E at Kings Mill Hospital. The waiting room was quite busy but i was seen within 20 minutes and treatment started shortly after. Subsequently i was transferred to Nottingham and was an inpatient for a few days. My experience is that if you are a genuine emergency and attend Kings Mill hospital you can expect rapid and effective treament. The staff were excellent despite being very busy and my care was faultless.

So far my appointment is 90 minutes late and I am the last person here with still no end in sight. A hour ago an assistant proclaimed to the waiting room that doctor is running 30 minutes late. She clearly doesn’t know how to tell the time. Given that I’ve waited 8 months for this appointment in the first place I really shouldn’t have expected anything different. CQC rating may have changed but the hospital really is the same tardy lackadaisical quack waggon it’s always been. Will definitely be going on the choose and book system to be referred anywhere else for my next appointment. As for my car parking… you’ll be getting an invoice.

Recently spent quite a lot of time at King's Mill where my mother recently lost her battle with Cancer. The treatment she received on ward 24 during her final days was fantastic and all the staff made her and our family as comfortable and cared for as possible during what was an extremely difficult time. Also a few days after her passing her husband was also admitted to ward 36 which also gave fantastic care to him with great understanding of the situation particularly one of your Health Care Assistants who went above and beyond to help him cope with the situation as well as his health condition. Massive thanks from all the family x.
