All staff I came into contact with in the day surgery were so lovely and caring. I am due to back in 2 weeks, and am so glad I went through BUPA for my surgery. I now know what high level of care I will get

I went for my pre-op appointment and was so impressed with the two nurses who at first gave me a thorough check over i.e. blood pressure heart monitoring, bloods, temperature etc and so many questions on my medical history and present day status regarding my health. I was then taken through the process and format of the few days leading up to the operation, the day of the operation and after care e,g personal hygiene, eating deadline, fluid intake before operation, schedule from time of registering in on day of op, after care etc. I was also given the opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns at all stages of assessment. From the very beginning I was made to feel comfortable and at ease right up to the point when the assessment was over. This being my first time at Göring Hall I went away feeling very positive about the whole experience.

Very well looked after by very professional staff. My body did not react to the treatment possibly in the same way way it would to a younger person. But with sympathetic care from the staff I was allowed to go home after a 10 hour stay. Many thanks to all,

Had my pre op assessment on the 8th March 2024. Was welcomed with a cup of tea and from then on was treated with absolute respect. All tests were done quickly and efficiently many thanks to the two ladies who made me feel at ease before quite a big surgery.

All staff were very helpful had ultra sound injection all explained before given by Dr with the help of nurse would highly recommend goring Hall hospital

Nurses made me feel comfortable, surgeons explained what was happening in a way I understood, catering was perfect, the lady who served and asked me what I wanted was my best friend throughout it

Was given an NHS appt at this hospital . Very hard to find this place in the dark .On arrival greeted by very pleasant receptionist But it eemwent down very quickly then on. Waiting room extremley small and a consulting room hmjust off of it where you could here every word . On seeing my consultant was not a happy experience. He was condescending, patronising and I was made to feel like I was a nothing or a nobody. He told me he was referring me back to the NHS and I would probably wait quite sometime before I even got an appt . This despite the severe pain I was in and the fact he told me I needed a total hip replacement . I came out of ther in tears and I will refuse to be seen by him again in the NHS . I've lost a hell of a lot of weight and he just scoffed . He just gave me tge impression that as I wasn't paying privately to see him that as an NHS patient I was wasting his time. This us a second private hospital that I was sent to by the NHS that really did not wish to treat an NHS patient It's time wasting, degrading and unsympathetic .

although i had some communications issues with the hospital itself meaning my appointments had to be delayed which was frustrating id like to say once there the staff where incredible. I was extremely well looked after (names not allowed) by 2 in particular, who made sure i was doing good. Due to the ongoing struggle ive had with physically health, mainly back problems, my mental health wasnt great at that moment and they took time and made me feel more at home and relaxed than id of expected, so thank you again
