  1. Review titled Exceptional care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was referred to the TIA clinic, arrived at 8.30am, met by a very bright and cheerful nurse who explained everything that was going to happen, I was put totally at ease. Then three separate tests were performed, followed by a consultation with the Doctor to discuss results and I left the unit by 11.45!! being well informed of the details of my condition, the treatment required and any concerns or questions fully answered. All staff on the unit were caring friendly and reassuring. I was able to go home with a clearer understanding of my condition and felt much more optimistic and relieved after the worry of my situation. Can't thank FPH enough for their very prompt response to my condition and their excellent care in the very well run departments I attended.

The Team, 2 Nurses, Surgeon, and Supervising Surgeon who carried out my procedure in Minor Ops this morning 1 Oct 24 were wonderful. Everything was well explained and carried out in a pleasant and professional manner. I cannot speak highly enough of the Team

Ophthalmology Department was well organised and efficiently run. I was examined and referred to another department urgently, (this appointment was booked for next day!). This action has helped enormously in helping to prevent a life threatening Stroke occurring. My experience was helped by the fact that all the staff members I came into contact with, were professional, helpful, reassuring and friendly. Overall my treatment at FPH has been exceptional.

The Labour ward have been absolute legends navigating us through the labour journey. Informative, positive, encouraging, caring. I can't say thank you enough for the experience you've made for me and my wife during the delivery of our first baby.

  6. Review titled Professional, caring and extremely efficient

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended A & E along with my adult son as he was suffering with what I deemed to be an infected wound site in need of medical attention. My son had attended our GP the day before to be told this problem was not urgent and that it was a chronic condition he had (agreed the problem is chronic and it will nearly be 1 year by the time he has his appointment with the consultant). Within minutes of walking into your extremely busy A & E dept my son had been triaged and later that evening was seen by a doctor who deemed it necessary that emergency surgery would take place the next morning - which it did. Following the successful surgery the next day our son was then given an appointment with the consultant for October. We are extremely grateful for the care and compassion shown throughout. I’m still mystified as to why our GP didn’t consider urgent treatment to be necessary but as mentioned we were relieved that the necessary treatment was given at Frimley with no delay. Many thanks to all of the HCPs involved in our sons care.

relative of mine had to go to A&E due to the fact that his catheter was blocked. Arrived round about 9pm ish and wasnt seen till 5am ish the following morning. My Relative was in so much pain and left him to suffer. My Relative also had to be hoisted as they were wheelchair bound and they did not have a hoist as they couldn't find one.

  8. Review titled Wonderful Doctor

Rated 4 stars out of 5

We went into a&e last night with our 6 week old boy, we were concerned with his behaviour in the past few days and a rash. We first of all were taken very quickly to the childrens department the nurses were very thorough and reassured us he is fine. We then went to meet the paediatrician, she was Brilliant , you could tell she had a lot of experience and knowledge with newborns. She looked him over for 5 minutes and then told us he has a small allergy and helped us with feeding and essential points about him at this weight and answered a few important queries that I had accumulated in my head over the last 3/4 weeks. We feel so lucky that we saw her and so grateful for how great she was so I wanted to say thank you.

  9. Review titled They actually care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Maggie - Posted on 27 August 2024

I have been a regular patient at the hospital for the last 2 weeks and my hope is that after today, I won’t have to go in again. During my many visits to the ugcc and today the Theatre, all I can say is a big thank you to all the nurses, sisters and doctors I had the pleasure of meeting. They were all professional, friendly, courteous and genuinely seemed to care about me and my well being. I can fault the service received. Thank you again for looking after me!

  10. Review titled Poor practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

My wife had been seen at our local doctors practice for severe shoulder pain and referred for an emergency x-ray at Frimley Park Hospital. On arrival at the department the staff showed little or no empathy, understanding or compassion with regard to my wife’s condition . I dropped her off at 20.00hrs and picked her up the top next morning at 04.30 hrs - 8hrs for an emergency x-ray ,disgraceful. She was upset ,tearful and in more pain than when she arrived at the hospital . They should be ashamed of how they behave .
