Went into Euxton Hall for the removal of a cyst. Excellent level of care throughout the entire procedure. From the initial consultation to the after-care treatment, the experience has been very satisfying. Many thanks.

Review titled Hip Replacement
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Brian Smith - Posted on 03 May 2024
The arrival, preparation, operation and recovery went absolutely perfectly. It was a seamless exercise from one to another. The hip replacement was carried out by the surgeon and his team on the 23rd March 2024. Everything was discussed and explained beforehand and I was prepared for the operation accordingly. The operation lasted 2 hours and I was awake. I was monitored constantly throughout. On completion of the operation I was taken to the recovery room and monitored, then after half an hour I was then returned to my room and the surgeon came and explained how the operation had gone. From that time 15.00 I was monitored constantly by the care team and offered meals and drinks at appropriate times. I was checked regularly throughout the night. The following day I was instructed by the physiotherapy department on the use of crutches and movement around the house. Later that afternoon the surgeon came to give me my discharge consultation. I was then issued with painkillers and other medicines needed for my recovery. Every member of the care team, operating staff, occupational therapy and physiotherapy and of course the surgeon himself were absolutely totally professional in what they did and my operation and stay at the hospital was first class. I have just had my 5 week post operation assessment and this again was superbly managed by all staff. I will now get on with my recovery.

Rated 5 stars out of 5
by MR DAVID H CAUNCE - Posted on 23 February 2024
On arrival for surgery was warmly welcomed by reception and immediately handed over to the ward. Again met by friendly staff, the consultant and had everything explained to me a left fully reassured about the day. The matter of what I wanted for post operation food and my evening were dealt with, an excellent choice available. At all time the staff were efficient and friendly making sure I was both happy and comfortable. The operation went as could be expected and was impressed by the immediate post operation treatment. The food supplied was brilliant, well prepared and very tasty , Cannot fault how well the overnight care was administered , again attentive caring staff who made every effort to make me comfortable. The physiotherapy staff went out of their way to get me back mobile and making sure I was fully aware of how to use my walking aids prior to discharge . Overall an excellent experience of Euxton Hall Hospital

I had my gall bladder removed today and will be heading home after a wonderful experience given how nervous I felt before hand. I Felt genuinely cared for by a lovely attentive team who were polite and always there. Every single team member were a 10/10 and I will be heading home very soon with a smile and some good memories of some of the best customer service I have had. Thank you

I have yet to have my surgery but felt like I needed to praise this place. I am riddled with anxiety about my operation however after hounding the young man on the phone in pre op (who is so fun and calming to talk to) and after seeing the triage nurse I think it was, my nerves have settled right down. I hope the rest of the staff I deal with along the way are this helpful and friendly. I would pay for this experience if I could, I've never been so excited about visiting an hospital knowing that I'll be dealt with with care and attention. Thank you so much.
