my GP refered me to ENT at chase farm hospital as a emergency as I can hardly breath through my nose, the ENT at chase farm hospital sent me a appointment for November 2022 which I attended, the Doctor at ENT in chase farm hospital that I had a appointment with told me that he will refere me for a scan straight away and that I should receive a scan within a week or two and after a couple of weeks he will ring me up and arrange for me to have a operation on my nose he told me that the bone on my nose is bent and that is why I can not breathe properly for, I waited for 6 weeks and after not receiving a scan appointment and also the ENT not ringing me up like he said he would within a couple of weeks, I rang the ENT at chase farm hospital yesterday to enquire but I was shocked when the ENT secretary told me that the ENT doctor that I had a appointment in November 2022 had not even bothered to refere me for a scan for my nose, he never kept to his word, he also never rang me to arrange for a operation on my nose like he told me he would, why should I have to keep chasing doctors at Chase farm hospital to do there job properly for ?, I am a 60 year elderly women, he knew that my GP refered me to chase farm hospital as a emergency and that I can not breathe properly that I can hardly breath through my nose and he still did not take my health seriously, he did not bother to refere me for a scan like he told me he would he also never bothered to ring me up and arrange a operation he told me I will refere you for a scan on your nose and after a couple of weeks I will ring you up arrange to do a operation on my nose but shockingly he did not do either he never kept to his word I was all forgotten about, appalling practice from ENT at chase farm hospital lack of care

Forgot about me. 45 minutes after my appointment before being seen. Had to go to reception to remind them that I was still waiting.

  3. Review titled Rude Ophthalmology staff

Rated 2 stars out of 5

The way my mother, that speaks little english, was treated by the Ophthalmology staff was disgraceful. The Optometrist abruptly told my mother to leave the room during her scan to put someone else in front of her. She was put in a room on her own. When I questioned it, she brushed it off and ignored what I was saying. This treatment was disgraceful and shows how the staff treat patients who cannot advocate for themselves. On the other hand, the doctors were helpful along with the staff at the desk.

  4. Review titled Assembly Line

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I received great service in Day Surgery however I was very disturbed that in this day and age when we have just been thru Pandemic and masks are supplied tho some still don’t seem to wear them and then to be seated in a room full of patients is unbelievable that precautions are still not being taken to have limited number sitting suitably at a distance from each yet they prevent partners from accompanying advising that to keep patients safe! Don’t get me wrong service was second to none but this crowding of patients in one awaiting to be taken for surgery left me stumped Also was promised by the Doctor that he would come and meet me before discharge not only was advised that he had emergency surgery but having waited were then advised that he had left hospital without even have courtesy to meet me. Where is duty of care!
