  1. Review titled Dismissive

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 October 2022

I attended a and e as I had a serious infected impacted wisdom tooth. The triage nurse couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t open my mouth. I couldn’t open my mouth because I had trismus. I was in acute pain and after being extremely dismissive she said I could wait to see the GP. She was sympathetic but offered little help other than giving me oral liquid antibiotics which I was grateful for. This condition was then dealt with as an acute clinical emergency at a different hospital. I will not attend a and e at the Alexandar hospital again. I have had to remove lots of detail from this review as my previous one wasn’t allowed as I was deemed to be giving clinical advice. I wasn’t.

  2. Review titled Excellent nurses in the Colposcopy Team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mrs Carter - Posted on 11 October 2022

I just wanted to pass on my thanks to the nurses in the Colposcopy Team of the Women’s Health Unit who provided me with excellent care today. They took the time to make me feel at ease during a very stressful situation and explained everything so that I understood what was happening and the next steps. You all made a very unpleasant situation so much more easier to deal with, thank you so much!

  3. Review titled Great attention

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Grateful - Posted on 24 September 2022

I got the cotton part of a cotton bud stuck in my ear and attended A&E on a Saturday afternoon. I was seen and out in under an hour. Very calm, professional people plus advice given to avoid a repeat. Thankyou NHS, you are all an asset to us as a country and society.
