The ambulance team called after my wife rang, as I had a fall in the garden. They were all so kind, knowledgeable, efficient, chatty and gave useful information as they left. These people deserve praise and recognition for the service they give the community.

My daughter called an ambulance for me on Saturday after I suffered a seizure. The crew that attended were great. When I came round my daughters were calm due to the support received from the crew. Both were kind even in spite of my untidy house and unkempt appearance. (Last time I have a lazy day after a busy week! Lol). I was quite disorientated when I came round but they were very calm and professional so I didn’t panic. Please say thank you to them for me.

I called 111, because I was tested positive for covid 19, and I had very bad symptoms. The nurse who answered was very polite and professional, she took some details and told me that a doctor would call me. In fact, doctor called me after 10 hours. They spoke to me very hatefully, effectively dismissing me, they told me that they knows better, considering that they told me to take ibuprofen when I told them that I have asthma and I can't take it. They asked me if I am a doctor and if I work in the NHS, I told them that I am not a doctor but yes I work in the NHS. They didn't let me speak at all, and when I told them to give me something for ear pain, they rushed me and said that had already sent the prescription to the pharmacy and that they couldn't do anything. When you are sick, you expect a doctor to ease your fears and make you feel better, but what happened to me last night left me with a bitter taste.

We called 999, as our elderly mother was unresponsive. 2 paramedics came to us in an ambulance within the hour. They were very reassuring, kind and patient, even though it was just a faint! They stayed with us for about 40 minutes, and were thorough and incredibly lovely, making phone calls and getting referrals. They checked my mums temperature, did an ecg trace and talked through various possibilities of why she may have fainted. They were very good at talking to mum, not over her, and not patronising at all. I just want to thank them, on behalf of my mum and our family.

I called the ambulance service today for my elderly grandmother. Both gentlemen were the sweetest, most patient ambulance people. To the point I asked if I could record one of their motivational speeches to listen to myself every morning (sadly I didn't!). I hope there's many more out there that are like this. Well done and thankyou to them

My husband remains in intensive care but if the brilliant paramedics , ambulance staff and air ambulance had not been so wonderful I'm not sure he would be here today . Falling backwards downstairs is not recommended but these chaps were professional, incredibly knowledgeable and very very caring and compassionate. Thank you Thank you thank you. My Heroes

I would like to say a big thank you to the paramedics (call 1884) who took care of my Dad. Extremely professional but highly caring at the same time. Both paramedics were very informative, explaining everything carefully to myself and my sister explaining all the options that would help my Dad. 5 star service and we are so grateful.
