Review titled Amazing care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Maya Jain - Posted on 16 October 2024
The paramedics came after my friend called due to me having chest pain. I was having a panic attack and although I knew this I thought I might be dying. They sat with me for over an hour, helping me regulate my breathing and making sure I was okay. They were two amazing women and I can’t express how grateful I am.

Review titled Amazing service from Ambulance crew to consultants
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Priyam - Posted on 27 October 2024
I would like to place of record my thanks to first the ambulance crew that came to help my mother during a hypertension crisis. Two female members came on 15 September. They were just wonderful. So supportive and helpful and made what was a horrific experience really manageable and I cannot thank them enough. Secondly the triage crew at St George’s hospital tooting including the nurse was again just fantastic and finally the consultant was so attentive and gave excellent care. Thank you all so much!

I had a medical emergency on Saturday, my daughter called an ambulance which came really quickly. The 2 female ambulance crew were excellent, very professional and helped to keep me calm as i was anxious. One of the crew spoke to my daughter on the phone asking questions and giving her updated details. Both deserve praise , shame i cant give you their names. Call number was h313

Review titled Gratitude
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I would like to specifically commend the two paramedics in Kingston who helped my son today in very difficult circumstances with outstanding compassion and professionalism. They also reduced my blood pressure by advising me on the phone what was happening and the care they had taken. This is a mental health crisis which is still ongoing - very demanding for everyone but enormous help to family, distraught with worry to have such humane responders. They are heros and heroines.

Dad had an accidental trip and ambulance crew were in the area and assisted him immediately. They were kind reassuring and so helpful in a difficult and distressing time. I cannot thank them enough and whilst the ambulance service is overstretched crew like this remind you what wonderful work these staff do under difficult circumstances.

We would like to commend two paramedics from newham ambulance station in london, luca and laura (call sign - k102; cad 2700). These two doctors very professionally and at the same time very gently helped our mother, who was 102 years old, in very difficult circumstances. They worked with exceptional compassion and professionalism. Although it took place on June 24, 2024, we remember these great paramedics with gratitude. They are real heroes. With great respect, rima and algirdas.

Review titled Exceptional Paramedics
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Being partially sighted and suffering from anxiety I’m not really good in social situations so I was quite reluctant about the whole experience! However, pretty much immediately on their arrival I felt comfortable and at ease with the calm and warm presence from both paramedics. Everything was explained to me clearly and thoroughly. Their compassionate, kind natures made me feel very reassured. Once i arrived at A&E (in Croydon University Hospital) I was checked upon continuously throughout my whole time there by one paramedic in particular, which I really appreciated more than anything, especially as I was on my own! I know he didn’t have to check on me but I could tell he really cared about people. I can’t thank you both enough and truly am grateful for your support and understanding throughout a stressful time for me. I also want to extend my deepest appreciation and gratitude to the paramedic who really went over and beyond for me, thank you so much your amazing keep doing the great job you are doing. This took place on Tuesday 18th June 2024 from around 4-4.30ish. I only wished I had a reference number so that this message could have been passed onto them personally.

Ref job 107823052024. My 94 year old Mum had a fall at home this morning, with suspected neck of femur fracture. I wanted to thank everyone involved at LAS for their exemplary service and kindness. From the call taker and then the Advanced Paramedic Practitioner on the critical care desk, to the two delightful, kind, compassionate and efficient paramedics who delivered the initial treatment in Mum's house. I felt so reassured by how well everything was handled in this difficult and stressful moment of time. Please pass on my sincerest thanks and appreciation to all involved.

Review titled Trust your instincts not always ambulance staff
Rated 3 stars out of 5

My mum was sent an ambulance by NHS111. The male member of the crew was patronising and implying that the visit was a waste of his time. That she should just expect issues with the medication she has been given and there was no need for her to go to hospital and see her GP the next day as her obs were fine. When she got to the hospital they say there had been bleeding and kept her in.
