I have nothing but respect and gratitude for the attention that has been given to me. With professionalism and compassion I was guided into finding the best course of treatment for me, followed up by phone calls to check my progress and empathy shown all the time. Simply amazing.

For more than a month now, I've been awaiting the provision of compression socks for my husband, who suffers from both motor neurone disease and dvt (thrombosis). However, I keep getting passed from one person to another, with nobody taking responsibility to resolve the issue. Each time I inquire, blame is shifted onto someone else, resulting in a frustrating lack of progress. Despite the urgency, there's been no prescription issued for the compression socks, and measurements haven't been taken. These compression socks are vital for my husband's condition. His feet are turning blue, he's lost the ability to move his toes, and his mobility is severely impaired, making walking increasingly difficult. The ongoing delay and lack of action are extremely stressful and disheartening. It's deeply concerning that there seems to be a lack of care and responsibility for patients' well-being. Why is there such incompetence and disregard for patients like my husband?

I like my usual general practitioner. I feel better whenever I see him for consultation. He is very caring and attentive to make sure that my health condition is improving. I would recommend other people when asked which GP clinic they should register with. Everyone at the practice is very hard working and I wish them well and God blessings to them.

All very helpful last spoke to practice nurse who was very kind and helpful and caring , waiting time to get through to speak to the receptionist is so long at time sometimes there are 37 peoples also waiting but it’s good that they can call you back and they are helpful once you get the call back.

However, as you point out there can be lots of patients all trying to call at the same time. Only issue is the new phone system, but still worked Dr got hold of me straight away very professional and very helpful sorted out exactly what I needed sorted out and my child is on the mend.

They are always pleased to know that patients appreciate the care they are given. Our new telephone system has had good reviews on the whole, patients appear to like the call back feature. However, we do understand that on certain busy days there are long waits. Our staff do their best to answer calls and deal with patients at the desk. Had a call from nurse at practice she was very good at explaining everything I needed very helpfull and arranged what medication I needed and ordered it with the pharmacy.

I previously managed to contact the practice via online assessment to address an ongoing debilitating condition. I was sent for a blood test and prescribed vitamins which have not helped whatsoever. I’ve tried to contact online again but the facility is either now broken or removed. Unfortunately due to severe autism, I’m unable to cope with a 7:30am mad phoning rush or indeed muck around arguing with reception staff in person. I essentially do not have a GP at this point, just stuck utterly unable to function. Standard for NHS.

Dear Patient I am really sorry that you are having trouble with the on line consultations. They are open when the surgery is open, perhaps you have been trying when we are closed. You can also request on line access to your records and a limited number of appointments are available to book on line. There is a form to complete which is available from reception.
