  1. Review titled Terrible practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

The worst practice. Would not recommend to anybody, can’t make appointments in advance, say they will get in touch and don’t, say they will send you your child’s asthma appointment but don’t, it’s constantly chasing them up all the time, they make appointments for you and then book it for a different time. If you do manage to get an appointment, you bet you’re waiting minimum or 30 minutes for your appointment!

  2. Review titled Awful

Rated 1 star out of 5

Having had bronchitis for 4 weeks, and constantly being told by friends that I should see a doctor, I rang the surgery to be told to ‘ring an ambulance’ . Friends thought it was funny, but I dont see anything funny in calling an ambulance for a case of bronchitis.

  3. Review titled Poor service for booking non urgent appointments

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 18 October 2022

After receiving my 3 yearly cervical screening letter, I contacted the surgery only to have to wait over 40 mins to book a smear test that took all of 5 minutes to book. I appreciate the surgery is very busy but I do think that there should be a separate non urgent appointments booking system for services such as smear tests, childhood vaccinations etc. It's this kind of poor thought-out process or poor access to non urgent services that risk lives. Many women do not have the time to wait 40mins or more to book a smear test or even get time to go online to book via the online system therefore delaying or even not attending their smears resulting in possible risks to thier health. Generally the practice has been good for my family and I but this one issue needs looking into as am sure it would also avoid delays for those wanted to book in to see the GP/Nurse for ill health on that day or urgently.

  4. Review titled Poor initial consultation

Rated 3 stars out of 5

The consult just doesn’t work for most elderly most of us are not computer literate We are asked to self diagnose from multi choice questions if we ever get to that stage For me the E consult is a barrier to seeking medical help and there delaying diagnosis Doctors need to see patients face to face At least give us the choice of direct appointments This system is harming many elderly people The phone system is poor I tried to get a call back twice it just didn’t work Just saying you see critical cases urgently only works if the indications are very obvious due the delay in being able to see a doctor in the first place I thought the Nhs motto was do no harm Well that’s out the window with E consult The system is scaremongering if you self diagnose wrongly on a couple of questions referring you immediately to A&E This can be upsetting all because a doctor has not been seen immediately Surely the doctors don’t agree with this system Not impressed
