  1. Review titled Seating

Rated 3 stars out of 5

The surgery is fine but they don’t have any seats with arms which most surgeries have these days. I asked for a chair with arms and was told they only have a wheelchair!! I’m an OAP with mobility problems.

  5. Review titled Great practice after recent changes

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 05 December 2023

In the past I have had many issues with ringing for 30 minutes and getting an appointment and if I'm lucky to actually get one then I'd have an appointment given to me at a sister site. However recently if I need an appointment, I ring up at 8am, press 1 and hang up. The surgery rings me back when it's my turn in the q and three times I've been able to book an appt at the surgery. The doctor I've seen had always been the same and is fantastic at explaining things and always uses diagrams and pictures to help understand. Very happy with the service from them. Only snag would be why don't they take down unnecessary posters dotted everywhere. One poster must be "you must wear masks at all times due to covid' and next to that poster there's another which says along the lines of just.. 'wear a mask if you have a cough/cold.' I'm not sure why surgeries have no music playing in the reception because with it being pin drop silence everything in the waiting area, you hear absolutely every query raised by patients to the reception staff.

  6. Review titled Not a nice nurse

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 October 2023

Came to see the nurse for a smear and swabs so I can be referred to a gynaecologist. One of the nurses at the practice is lovely and a pleasure to see however the other is not. Very uncaring and cold, she did my swabs and smear and I told her twice she was causing me pain but did not care and continued. She did not use any lubricant gel either, I was so sore after and overall this was a horrible experience for a very personal matter. No bedside manner at all and showed no sympathy even after telling her that she hurting me. I would not want to see this nurse again. Horrible experience

I wasn't late but stuck in the qué behind three people, one of which who had a disagreement with the inexperienced receptionist. Did not handle the situation well. Then I get told I'm very late and will have to wait. Nurse taking bloods waffled something and walked back in.

  8. Review titled Willows medical centre.

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Karen - Posted on 10 October 2023

Willows medical centre is awful for trying to get through on the telephone, it's usually a wait of around 40 minutes to an hour! And getting an appointment is like trying to get blood from a stone, they tell you to ring at 8am but by the time you get through all the appointments have gone so they tell you to ring back again the next day at 8am to again wait for another hour to be told again that all the appointments have gone. They seriously need to sort it out! The doctors I have spoken to have been very good but to actually get to see one or speak to one or even to get through to the surgery is an actual nightmare and outs me off ringing even when I really need to speak to a doctor.
