  1. Review titled Fantastic Practice!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Natalie Kendrick - Posted on 10 August 2023

Willow Tree Surgery are a breath of fresh air. Very well organised, friendly, efficient, clean and tidy. Everyone from the receptionists, Practice Manager and the doctors themselves are so kind and helpful. Appointments are easy to book and quickly available. Can't praise Willow Tree Surgery enough, they are a credit to the NHS Service.

  2. Review titled Terrible for appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 March 2024

Tried to get an emergency appointment in the space of 3 minutes they was gone was calling this morning eventually walked into the surgery with no phones ringing however was on hold for 22 minutes!!! I spoken to a young girl nicole that was incredibly rude and argumentative on the phone saying no appointments call back tomorrow morning of it’s an emergency or go to Uxbridge. I’m in incredible pain this service as a tax payer in incredibly incentive and overall very disappointing. Tried to speak to a manager but was told on the 07/03/2024 that there was none available. Overall service is terrible our NHS should be run with care, kindness and be able to deal with vulnerable people. You do not get that at this surgery you have kids/young girls on the phones and no professionalism what so ever.

  3. Review titled Very good Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Willow Tree Surgery is a friendly, efficient practice which can offer appointments quickly. It is clean and organised with very helpful staff in all areas. The doctors take the time to listen to you and offer advice. My experience with the doctors, receptionist and Practice Manager have all been very positive and I cannot recommend this surgery enough. Really great, thank you.

  4. Review titled Our Experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Colin Street - Posted on 10 July 2023

It’s saddening when there is a tendency to ‘review’ in the negative. Over the last 12 months since my wife and I needed support we have received nothing but. We are so grateful to the reception and support staff. Thank you.

  5. Review titled Lack of appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Kenneth Fellows - Posted on 11 March 2023

When we picked up our last prescription a note with it said to make an appointment for a medicine review. I telephoned today no appointment until 12th April we were told about a year ago the review would be near patients birthday i do not consider the April date near my birthday if you are unable to carry this out near a birthday what is the point of putting a note with our prescription. When i telephoned the surgery today Iask to speak to the practice manager I was told I had to put this in writing why do you not have the decency to speak to patients you have not even be bothered to confirm my E-Mail the receptionist was very abrupt and why does it take 14days to receive a reply from you I await your reply Regards Mr K Fellows

Dear Mr. Kenneth Fellows, We are saddened to hear of your negative experience, however, you do not seem to be registered at our practice and can only assume you have left this review on the wrong surgery site. As there are a few surgeries with the name 'Willow Tree' can you please check the address of your practice as we are based in Hayes.

  6. Review titled Appointment system

Rated 1 star out of 5

I was informed to call at 8am if need to speak not see a Doctor which is alarming, nevertheless I called at 8am I was on in a queue for 30min when I finally was told a Doctor call back at 11.40am, due to no call back, I telephoned the surgery at 12noon and was told by receptionist, if doctor dose not call back you need to call back at 2pm. A locum Gp called me back at 1.40pm. It alarming given telephone consultations on emergency, never appointment to be seen at the surgery. The practice nurse appointments are reliable and your seen at the surgery.

  7. Review titled Impossible to get an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

Needed an appointment 6 months ago to get HRT, but teach, so cannot attend or take during normal office hours. Was told that the next appointment was over a month later and would be a phone call, but could not give me a time. I asked to be referred to the GP hub, which is an out of hours appointment service, and was told there were no appointments at all. I then went on line and was able to book one for the next day. The online booking to the gp him has now been removed, so to get a repeat prescription I had to get an appointment. I phoned to be referred to the gp hub and was told (after being held on a queue for 20 mins) that there were no appointments at all and to call back the next day. I then phone the other line (not appointments) and, lo and behold, the lady who answered got me an appointment the next day. Three months later, the same thing- told no appointments available at all (after holding for 20 mins). This time the woman was able to get a doctor to print off a repeat prescription, but no one was available to see me, I was told to check my own blood pressure or get it done somewhere else and send in the result. I very rarely go to the doctor/ am ill, but I’m shocked at how poor the service, attitude and access to a doctor is. I know there are go hub appointments, but they simply lie and tell you there aren’t any. I have a couple of small things that I would like to talk over with a doctor, but have zero confidence in this surgery.

  8. Review titled Terrible Appointment booking service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 December 2022

My mother has been asked to book an appointment with the Gp to discuss some scan results. The appointments for some reason are only available at 9am or 3pm and there have been days where she has been unable to get through at this time despite calling and staying on the phone repeatedly. The few times she does get through they have told her there are no more appointments because the system resets every week??? I have called on her behalf and received the same information. I wanted to book an appointment outside of the terrible 'patchs' system with the surgery directly and they told me this isn't possible. My mother is anxious about the results and just wants the peace of mind but has to jump through so many hoops in order to do something as simple as book an appointment. The Staff have been repeatedly rude and decide to end phone calls when we inevitably become frustrated. I will be changing our Gp Practise. I do not recommend this Gp to anyone.

  9. Review titled Practice changes

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Sally Holmes - Posted on 09 September 2022

Went into the surgery after bank holiday weekend and was greeted by reception who checked me in, sat and waited for appointment. While waiting was acknowledged by a young lady walking through who said hi ( first time this has happened ) spoke to the nurse at my appointment who advised was the new manager. The Surgery feels warmth and pleasant and has not been like this for years. What ever the surgery are doing it makes me smile to see new faces. I hope i get a hello again when they walk by.
