Made appointment over the phone. Was 15th in queue. Practice rang me back when I was position 1. Female caller was lovely and helped me with directions to my appointment that was made.

Review titled New triage service is really useful
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 17 October 2024
The past couple of times I have called the practice with a query for an appointment they have used the new triage service. One time they didn’t see the need for an appointment and could resolve my problems via the phone call. The second they got me a phone call appointment within the hour of calling to be triaged. This service has seen to be very helpful in my case, I think this will take the pressure off the doctors, practice nurses and other member of staff at the practices. In the past it is impossible to get an appointment past 9 as they have all gone to people calling. Today I called at almost 10 and was given an appointment! This has just never been seen before during my time at the practices. I hope this service stays as it is very useful! Thank you!

Review titled Not the best
Rated 3 stars out of 5

Some of the doctors ie 2 of the female ones are out of this world can’t do enough for people and I personally can not thank them enough but there have been times I have gone in Dr asked what’s up and then told me I should have just googled it and then there is the Dr on the computer googling what he should have done and then ask me what they wanted then to do and then I have had my children there Dr checks their throat and says yeah you have tonsils like everyone else told me to get some strepsils for my child and next thing I know having to rush my child to A&E as their airways have closed up like I say there are two female doctors one in maternity leave at the moment who always go above and beyond either on the phone or face to face not that you can get a face to face these days but telephone calls seem to be the main way of dealing with things

Review titled Great practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Lyn Howey - Posted on 23 August 2024
It was first class from the lovely and helpful receptionist booking me in and seeing the doctor who was amazing she was so caring and actually knew what she was talking about. It was her first week at the practice. She us one of the best doctors I have seen and in my opinion an absolute asset to the practice.

I have been trying 2 weeks to get my prescriptions that I need I have been told to ring the prescription line witch I can not do or get to the doctor's to fill the form out and for appointments I can never get one and having to suffer with the issue I highly recommend this surgery as one of the worst ones in the area not only for my self but for my family

Review titled Long waiting lists, terrible care

Took me two weeks to get a phone appointment. Doctor was extremely discompassionate and made numerous irresponsible and unprofessional comments. Lacking empathy. Reception staff are doing their best in a bad situation.

Staff friendly & helpful. Practice was quick to sort/assist my recent health issues & continued to keep me informed to make appointments for follow up checks.
