    Having been with the centre since it opened its getting harder and harder to get an appointment with my Doctor. I think Hilton has out grown the service Wellbrook can cope with. My current wait time is around 3 weeks to see my Doctor so after multiple tests and then waiting to get back in the problem just drags on. Has anybody done a review lately what is the population of Hilton (its grown so much) against how many patients Doctors can actually cope with daily it, would be interesting to know.

    Thanks for your feedback. We are aware that the service is pressured at the moment and unfortunately this is a reflection of the pressure felt widely in all areas of the NHS across the country. Demand is at an all time high and we are trying to offer the most we can with the resources we have. We have recruited additional reception staff to try to reduce telephone queue waiting times and will soon have an additional Physician Associate which will provide additional appointments. Thank you for your patience.

    Zero care about patients, I did a lot of exams last year, that one had a abnormal result, I’m trying for months to book, but is just impossible, they never answer the phone, just can book if you go there 8am, but I work this time, and even when you go they does not have appointments available on weekend or evening, or in more than 2 weeks, as I need a holiday day to have during week on day, and I need time to book holiday. To Saturday appointment need to call Friday 13:30, I tried massive times, all unsuccessful of course as the phone just have a automatic message that is busy and turn of, or be on the key until the call end with no answer, Wellbrook medical centre is waiting me due to have one less people to care. Difficulties the service, I had another gp when I used to live in Nottingham and was complete different. Disappointed and would not recommend nobody to use this terrible set ice gp.

    I am sorry to hear that you have been struggling to get an appointment. The telephone lines are busy when we first open at 8am but we answer calls as soon as we can. If you cannot wait on the line we offer a call back system that will hold your place for you. We have also increased the call queue capacity. We offer routine appointments within 2 weeks in line with the national GP contract. We also offer routine appointments with clinical staff on Saturday mornings and can accommodate late afternoon or earlier morning appointments for patients who work. We have recruited additional clinical and administrative staff to try and improve access for patients. We are also looking at ways to improve our appointment system as part of a nationwide project. GP surgeries are suffering from huge pressure on their resources at the moment. The current demand far outstrips capacity (in all sectors of health and social care). There isn't the capacity or resource to meet the increased demands on our service, however we are hopeful that you will see improvements over the next few months.
