    Excellent with appointment management and referrals. i’ve recently had a mental health referral for medication and wondering how long this may take? it’s currently been a week. I visited for an anxiety problem which they managed to get me in quickly. the doctor gave brilliant help, with services for any mental health problems. Appointment time could’ve been longer, but i understand the numbers of patients everyday.

    The lady doctor I have seen today was excellent, very attentive, listened and spend time understanding my concerns and acted promptly for further tests. The staff in reception are also very good.

    On my recent two appointments I checked in and the screen confirmed 'on time'. On both occasions I had to enquire with reception if there was a problem as I had to wait over 30 minutes. I can appreciate how busy the doctors are, but you also need to manage patient expectations and explain if there is going be a long delay. The staff and doctors are friendly and helpful in their general dealings.

    Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I am sorry that you were not kept informed of delays. We do always endeavour to give each patient the time they need and it does mean that on occasions clinics can over run. Whilst the automated check in service is efficient it can remove the personal touch and I am sorry that we missed the chance to keep you updated. It is frustrating being kept waiting and we should have explained this. I will discuss this with the team and we will all look to improve.     Having tried to ensure a continued supply of my prescription medication prior to moving house, delays led to this being cancelled. The staff were unhelpful and uncaring in what is a stressful situation

We can only provide prescriptions for patients that are registered at our Practice, and as you are registered elsewhere we are unable to issue a prescription for you. I have listened to the telephone call you held with our receptionist and this was explained and advice was provided about what to do to obtain a new prescription.     On arrival for my appointment there were smiles and a welcome from the lady cleaning and the receptionist. My appointment with the Doctor at 9.00am was a one month follow up consultation to see if my new medication was working, which I really appreciated. I found the Doctor extremely efficient and attentive. He listened to any concerns and explained everything clearly. He has a caring approach which helps to make the consultation less stressful for patients. I came away feeling reassured and confident in my diagnosis and treatment.     After a few visits to the surgery seeing different staff each time for the same problem/symptoms resulting in varying thoughts on diagnosis and therefore treatment I eventually had an appointment when my symptoms progressed and worsened resulting in other issues with the Dr who listened to the history. He went through each episode,how long I had been suffering and he put me on a long term management plan with no antibiotics just medication to alleviate and reduce my symptoms over time and has requested to review my progress over several months.. it was like I had won the lottery,I know health centre staff have time constraints and only have limited appointments and resources but on this occasion with perseverance,I was given the time to explain ,I didn't feel like I was being rushed and wasnt just given a quick fix.. this has helped not only my physical health but also my mental health... all the staff have been helpful and tried their best during the course of my illness but it just took one person to take the time to reach the best solution... I have no qualms about visiting my GP practice,I just wish it could be like this for everyone, every time...

    Went for a problem in the 'bottom' department. Doctor was very gracious. Treated me with the utmost dignity, and maintained my privacy as much as (The doctor) could. Top marks.

    I always seen by the practice’s ANP, at Weeping cross for a leg ulcer. She was brilliant. I had a few appointments to monitor the ulcer and she was always very helpful and kind.

    My son had an ear infection and we needed to be seen quickly. We were given a callback by the nurse within 20 minutes, seen in person 5 minutes after that with a prescription written and medication obtained within an hour of calling at 8am. Very happy with the service received, thank you

    I saw Dr N for a coil fitting and she was absolutely brilliant. She explained everything clearly and completely put me at ease. The procedure itself was quick and practically painless. She was clearly extremely experienced and I couldn’t have imagined a better coil fitting. Thank you!
