    I was requesting a prescription from the surgery. I did have to do the race on the phone line at 8am which is really annoying, but did get through. The receptionist was pleasant and efficient. I had the promised phone in the morning with a nurse, I thought I would speak to a doctor, but my Rx was sent to a local pharmacy with no hassle. I was happy with the service. It’s just a shame this 8am telephone rush to get an appt can’t be fixed.

    Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased to learn that your experience was positive, and that the receptionist was pleasant and efficient. Patients have the opportunity to book a same day appointment if they call at 8am, our busy times are 8am until 10am and would recommend you call after that time if it’s not an appointment you need.

    Quick to book and get myself sorted. Friendly staff. Still difficult to get GP appointments tho. And some GP’s are not that approachable .

    I called surgery on the 31st January 8:00 am and receptionist was very polite and helpful. The doctor rang me back same day and was also very helpful.

    I have always received a great service from all the reception staff, nurses & doctors at my surgery in Holburne Road. Friendly, polite staff and no rushing you out.

    Every time I’ve attended surgery the reception staff really makes it pleasant and friendly. And try their up most to accommodate me, I never feel I’m being treated unfairly, The ladies always make me feel welcome and not a burden

    Repeat prescription online request rejected on Friday with no prior warning leaving me with no blood thinners. Phoned practice early morning and was number 17 in the queue so long wait which has become the norm. The telephone assistant was very patient and attentive. They advised that I was due for a medicines review before issuing the prescription. I explained that I had no blood thinners left and could not wait over the weekend due to my arterial and heart disease. They said that they would speak to a manager to try to resolve the issue as all the doctor appointment slots had been filled. They phoned back mid afternoon to advise my prescription had been approved by a GP and would be available at my pharmacy later today/tomorrow. They also confirmed my medicine review for the following Monday. The phone assistant was very polite and responsive throughout our conversations. I did ask that they feed back that medicine reviews should be arranged shortly after or when a prescription is issued rather than just before it is due. Once again top marks and many thanks to this person for their help and commitment to sort out my issues.

    I been with this doctors for quite a long time now , they are very busy. However I think this is because everyone now has got to call for 8am to see face to face appointment & the same for a call from doctor on call. Otherwise 2/3 weeks wait.
