Review titled Rude and nasty
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Dr. Adrian Cazan - Posted on 10 July 2024
I tried to collect my monthly prescription early because I must travel overseas for dental surgery. The chemist put a request with the center few days ago but received no reply from the center. I called back the chemist and I was advised by the chemist to contact the medical center by phone because they received no reply. The person who answered my call from the Valence medical centre stated that the center have not received any request from the chemist which it is untrue. The request was sent by email which is a checkable fact. The receptist did not have even the courtesy or professionalism to check my medication and the dosage recorded in their system. The answer was very rude and nasty and the conversation was cut off shortly. I called back the chemist and I was told that it is not too much they can do under these circumstances, except to email the centre again and follow up with a phone call. I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and a few more medical problems, therefore this medication is essential for me. Now I am in the situation of not being able to take my medication while travelling into a foreign country (and the reason for my travel is the fact that I can not afford the dental treatment/surgery in the UK as an OAP). Very dissapointing and unprofessional, but I do not keep any high hope that the situation may improve.

Review titled Not fit for purpose
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Adrian Cazan - Posted on 30 January 2024
I tried to book an appointment by phone since 8 am (opening time) until 8:40. I called non-stop for 40 minutes but all the time it displayed the message as "busy" which is impossible considering that I called continuously. I had to drive to the clinic but I was told there is no appointment left (at 9:45 am). I called the reception number in front of the reception staff and despite the fact that their phone was not in use my phone displayed the same message as "busy". I asked the reception staff to explain this and I was told in a derogatory manner that this is how their phone works. I proved that the reception phone displayed busy even when it was not in use. Especially one of the female receptionist was very rude, patronizing and dismissive. I have a serious medical condition and being treated in this manner is disgusting. It is not surprising that patients are denied medical treatment when even booking an appointment is impossible. In my case the explanation of "this is how our phone works" when I proved to the arrogant receptionist that I called their number in front of them and was still ringing and displaying "busy" it is shameless. Furthermore, this is unprofessional and put patients health at risk. Dr. Adrian Cazan

No face to face consultation; derogatory customer service. Despite being advise that the GP would contact me, by phone, in the next 3 hours no phone call was received.

Review titled Not great!

So first of all it’s ridiculously hard to get an appointment, everytime I call at 8am lines are busy, eventually when they pick up weather it be 8.30/8.20 all appointments are already gone. Some days I phone in from 7.50am all while getting my children ready got school. My most recent appointment with my newborn regarding his colic, the Dr prescribed Two doses of medication and also put it on his repeat only to find out she actually prescribed one. The medicine itself only lasts 4 days and is expensive to buy over the counter which I ended up doing because ofcourse Its for my baby, however to buy it every 4/5 days is not possible. Anyhow, the dr was supposed to call me the following week for an update as my babys milk may need to be changed, I recieved a reminder email, stayed next to my phone the whole day. Nothing. No phone call, I call the gp they have no trace of this. I send 2 emails to And no response. Now I’ve been told it can’t be on his repeat because the medication should last a month… so why did the dr prescribe me something that lasts only 4 days when she clearly stated it will take a few months until he’ll no longer need it. I call the receptionist and not much help thier either. All I get told is to call back and ‘take it up with the dr’
