    I have been registered with five different practices over my lifetime and had never had a positive experience until I came here. I've seen a nurse and a GP. Both listened to me and took my symptoms seriously which is something I hadn't previously experienced. I've spoken to a few different people at reception and they have always been respectful, patient and professional.

    Normally service is good - but today , not so . I had an appointment at 10am-didn’t get seen until 10.40. I know delays happen , but when sick and coughing , someone should have said there is a delay . Saw a paediatrician who took some tests and gave me a script which doctor needed to sign of for , for new medication . Should be ready in 10 minutes but normally around lunchtime . Went to the chemist at 3pm and no script had been signed off. Went to the reception in the doctors and spoke to a lovely lady who said doctor is working from home today . I said is it acceptable to wait over 3 hours to get medication , she sent doctor a message and then called and it was signed of on . All in all I had to wait over 3 and a half hours for a doctor to sign a bit of paper so I could get medication . Not good enough to be honest

    Dear Mr Fellows, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your recent experience of the practice was not as positive as previous encounters. We understand that having to wait past your appointment time can be frustrating for you but sadly this is something that is often out of our control. If a patient attends with a medical need that requires longer than the allotted time, it will have an impact on the rest of that session. All of our clinicians work extremely hard to keep to time but a patients medical need and care will always take priority. We hope that you can understand this. In regards to the waiting time for your prescription to be issued, we are sincerely sorry for the delay that you experienced. We will take this feedback to our clinical meeting to discuss and review. We appreciate you taking the time to feed back to us as it allows us the opportunity to review our processes and make changes should we feel necessary.

    I have been with the surgery for 4 years, struggling with some chronic unidentified issues for 2. My experience has been bad throughout, but today when finally getting back some bloodwork my gp completely ignores me, does not call to discuss, and have had to once again chase this at least 10 times with unhelpful receptionists. I wanted to provide new information and advice from another doctor that could have pointed out to another cause which needs to be ruled out, but I am completely ignored. I was just made a referral that I got a strange text about, only to call them and understand that that appointment will take place in 5 months if that, and to my gp this was case closed, as if there are no more investigation needed, when i have been struggling with my symptoms for 2 years, and have had to stop working because of it.

    I have just moved from Portslade medical centre to the Trinity Medical centre Cannot tell how much better the service and efficiency of trinity is over my old medical centre Was seen straight away and it was outstanding service all around Well done guys

    I have been continually appreciative and impressed by the level of care and efficiency of Trinity Medical Centre and their staff. I attended a sensitive appointment today and the GP was really thorough in both her examinations and questions, made me feel at ease, I didn't feel rushed out the door, and she gave great advice. I moved to the area in the summer and have used them for a range of one-off health issues and vaccinations since. I have always been able to get an appointment when I need one, their GPs are thorough and friendly, and their reception staff go above and beyond. Their flu vaccination clinics run like clock-work and I was in and out in 2 minutes. In my experience, Trinity Medical Centre are the gold-standard of GPs and I wish other surgeries would take note and follow their example.

    This surgery seems to deliberately make life difficult for patients, including vulnerable individuals. For some reason, they are averse to online appointment bookings - despite the technology being in place to do so. I have queried if/when online appointments are available and just been told "they are sometimes available" with no further clarity. So instead, if you need to make an appointment then you either have to fill in an online form via an NHS website (only suitable for non-urgent requests) or wait 30+ minutes to speak to someone over the phone. I've found the reception staff unfriendly during interactions with them. Once I was successful in securing an appointment, this was then delayed for over 30 minutes - with no apology or explanation.

    Having suffered for the past three weeks with a cough and cold and feeling faint on standing up rang the surgery and was prescribed anti biotics which seem to have a good effect. Am now feeling so much better and am grateful for the lady GP I spoke to who was so sympathetic and helpful. Thank you so much.

    I needed to have some antibiotics very quickly and my nearest pharmacy was not very helpful to say the very least. However, the pharmacist at Trinity was absolutely brilliant! :-) She was so wonderfully helpful, efficient, professional and kind, and she gave me the medication I needed! Thank you Trinity! :-)

    Everything went well overall. Only a minor thing, when I arrived for my appointment, I followed the instructions of the sign at the entrance, which said "Please sit and wait to be called". I waited for a while and when I realised the time of my appointment had passed and I wasn't called, I went to the reception and I was told that I should have checked in first. I think it might be helpful to have a sign that invites people to check in, because there was no way people could known otherwise. Not having checked in resulted in me waiting for more than 1h until the clinician was kindly available to see me outside the time of my appointment. I really appreciated this, however I do think that none of this would have occurred if I was made aware of having to do the check in in the first place. It can't be assumed that patients who do not attend the practice regularly know that they have to check in on arrival, especially when the first thing you see at the entrance is a sign that invites you to simply sit and wait, without mentioning any check in. It would be helpful to include an invitation to check in on that sign for those who don't know. I also have to say that every staff member I spoke to about this was very understanding and tried to problem solve the situation, which I very much appreciated.

    Thank you for your feedback. We have looked into your feedback regarding the signage as patients enter the GP surgery, and what to do if you have an appointment and we currently have two signs with instructions. On the right hand side where the queue is formed for reception we have a sign that states 'Please wait here until called' and on the left hand side we have a sign that states ' If you have an appointment please use the check in screen' with an arrow pointing to the check in screens. We have been unable to locate a sign that suggests 'Please sit and wait to be called'. We will discuss and consider whether the signs need to be clearer but we hope that this response has cleared up any confusion for yourself and others who might read this.

    My son has received excellent service from the wound dressing team at the practice. His wound has now completely healed following a consistent and professional service and support from the nursing team. Thank you for your help, patience and support.
