  1. Review titled Terrible practice.

Change your appointment time with no notice, no text, no call. When you arrive at the time you were told over the phone they look at you as if you are the problem. No notice of appointment as usual. Terrible surgery.

  2. Review titled Very Helpful Physiotherapy

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Chris S - Posted on 21 May 2024

Referral for Physiotherapy for sciatica. Physio Stef was very good explaining symptoms, exercises, and listening to my journey. Exercise programme I was given was perfect in slowly building recovery, and was a nice amount to keep me encouraged to continue with the programme, and was expertly increased session by session by amount and difficulty. Went from very poor to very good mobility in 4 sessions spread over about 12 weeks....and my life back. Receptionists always helpful and friendly, and no problem being offered convenient appointments for Physio sessions. Thank you to all at Warren Physiotherapy Centre for helping with my recovery.

  3. Review titled Unhelpful reception staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

Visited the surgery to see another professional and asked at the surgery desk if an appointment could be made as I was having health issues with new medications and had been very unwell. Had been given a phone consultation in 6 weeks time I asked if I could see a doctor and was told no, to go away and ring the surgery to make an appointment Reception staff fail to recognise not all people can use electronic devices to complete a patches form The reception staff refused to make an appointment and made the experience awful No one answers the phone at the warrens I did ring, I was in the queue, I was 5th in the queue for 40 minutes I gave up in the end. This is why the A&E departments are full of patients who should be getting seen and treated by their GP surgery. 6 week wait for a medication review for a medication which is making me unwell and even the pharmacist said I need to see the GP to get the diabetic tablets reviewed But try getting the receptionists to assist, they refuse to make appointments and just kept saying ring the surgery it use patches to make an appointment

  4. Review titled Very helpful and caring practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Since covid my health has got worse and I'm back and fourth to the practice with regular appointments. Everyone is so nice starting with the receptionists they are so helpful, the doctors, nurse, phlebotomy nurse, paramedic, dietitian. Just everyone is always nice to me when I visit and it made me want to join the NHS and give back for all the help I receive, and I have done that and I'm enjoying working for the NHS as it's so rewarding. They do their best in difficult jobs especially the receptionists who are all lovely and create a nice working atmosphere which makes you feel welcome. I'm very happy with this practice and would ignore all the negatives. And just think for a moment would you be able to do their jobs? If the answer is no then appreciate what they do for us patients!

  5. Review titled Excellent care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by PAC - Posted on 17 November 2023

I did a request on patches this week were I was able to discuss my symptoms, my request was followed up the same evening and I had a GP appointment the following day. I saw a GP who listened and had an excellent bedside manner, tests were ordered and I was advised to contact the surgery if my symptoms worsened. I am not a regular visitor to the surgery but when needed I have always found the Doctors and nurses to be kind considerate and caring. I think that Patches is an excellent systems rather than waiting for a telephone appointment. I could not wish for better care or attention at the Warrens Medical Centre.

Many thanks to the Practice Sister and subsequent GP. I requested a PSA test as part of my 6 month review. GP contacted me within couple of days and referred me to Urology for investigation. Confirmed prostate cancer. I have now completed 20 radiotherapy sessions and am awaiting final appointment with my consultant. Thank you so much everyone, you all may have saved my life.

  8. Review titled Travel vaccinations

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I’ve just enquired about having hepatitis A and thyphoid vaccination prior to foreign travel but I’ve been told that the practice does not offer travel vaccinations and that I have to go to the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. This is inconvenient and there is a charge for this. I’m surprised as these vaccinations quote the bma “ These vaccinations must be given as part of nhs provision through gms services, and no fee can be charged to a registered patient”. I can’t include the weblink but article was only updated 09.11.22. I know other surgeries provide this service so I’m really disappointed that The Warrens don’t provide this service!
