Review titled Top Gp Surgery
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Thomas Galvin - Posted on 21 December 2022
I had a telephone consultation with my GP on 14 Dec 2022. I had a really worrying persistent cough. Upon speaking to my GP I was asked to visit the surgery in person. I was more than happy to this. I was examined and got my situation sorted. My Gp wasn't rushed and was very professional. I was so pleased. After a few days I was feeling much better.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the doctors, nurses and receptionists at the practice. You have all been so wonderful with my two children under the age of 2. Always thorough, helpful, kind and supportive. We are sad to be leaving you as we are moving away. Wish more practices were like this.

Review titled Poor service.
by SophieK - Posted on 24 October 2022
This is the second time I am writing about this surgery and only the second time I have had telephone contact with this surgery in years. I waited the usual month for my 10-minute telephone appointment to get results (which were all normal so could have simply been told to me by someone other than a doctor where maybe I didn’t have to wait a month). I was on the phone for 2mins 17 secs when the doctor when I felt rushed off the phone. I had another very small area of my health to discuss to be told by the Dr that there were lots of people waiting in the surgery and that I’d have to make another app to discuss it. I was absolutely fuming as I had waited all this time and only taken under 3 mins of their time. I pay NI each month, rarely even use the service and when I do this is the treatment I get. Other members of my familiar have experienced similar issues. I am utterly disgusted at how rude I felt the staff were. At this surgery I feel rushed past like I do not matter. I completely appreciate the health service is short staffed but that doesn’t mean individuals should be treated like this. This is our health and ultimately our lives.

Review titled Appalling service provided by uncaring doctors
Rated 1 star out of 5

I had to wait 4 weeks for a 5-min telephone appointment with a rushed doctor who cut me off saying they're too busy to talk. Got sent for a blood test, then had to wait another 4 weeks to talk to another doctor about my blood test results. The last doctor I talked to today was again rushed and couldn't bother to listen about my symptoms, she said she was very busy, then told me to go to a Walk-in centre if I'm unwell, even though I'm disabled and suffering from chronic pain and limited mobility. It's an absolute disgrace! There's only one helpful and caring receptionist; the rest of the admin staff have an unhelpful, rude atitude.
