Review titled No empathy and disrespect to patients.
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 03 June 2023
I have had many serious issues with this practice this year alone and I feel that I need to leave the practice as I have no faith at all in many Locums and GPS who speak with no respect and wanted to see a minor alone in his room with no chaperone or adult. One doctor spoke over me and actually raised his voice to a shouting tone as he didn’t agree with what I was saying. I will never be spoken to like that and have moved the whole family to another practice.

Review titled Poor admin, poor advice ..bad customer relations
Rated 1 star out of 5
by JOHN WHITESIDE - Posted on 24 May 2023
I have high blood pressure and for years I have been prescribed Amlodopine . I have collected my prescription from Boots in Elk Mill .It is a repeat prescription ordered by the pharmacy . In January this year I was diagnosed by a consultant with Menieres disease and I lodged his findings with the practice he prescribed Serc 8 to be taken 3 times a day for 12 months . Initially I was able to collect this at the same time as my Amlodopine but lately it has not come through. Today I came to the practice to find out what the problem was . The practice was not busy but the people behind the prescriptions counter eventually broke off their conversation to deal with me . Unfortunately their manor towards me made me feel as if I was an inconvenience ..I asked about the Serc 8 prescription and I was told I was responsible for re ordering and that they dont do repeat prescriptions even though the pharmacy told me the Amlodopine was a repeat prescription. If a consultant prescribes a medication 3 times a day I would have thought that would be a repeat prescription ..please can you clarify what is and isnt a repeat prescription as your lady didnt seem to know

Review titled Great Service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Spoke to reception team last night, was advised to complete online consult for a non-urgent appointment. On-Line consult completed via accrux (very simple) at 9:00am, practice rang back at 11:25am, offered an appointment 5 days later (3 working days) Overall very good service - no complaints

Review titled Shocking
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Lisa Cane - Posted on 04 April 2023
I would specifically like to comment on my experience trying yo book a GP appointment in April 2023 for an elderly cancer patient. The previous evening no appointments were available . I followed reception guidance and contacted the surgery at 8am to book a telephone GP consultation. 45 phone calls later from 8am till 10.30am. Constant message answering machine then cut off lines are busy. I emailed the surgery explaining my circumstances, to receive an email response stating " you can not book appointments using this service ". Surely just pick up the phone call me back and provide service. Too difficult for them. "Can not think out of the box" I just wanted to highlight the appalling service system to book GP appointments. This needs to be addressed and improvements need to be implemented. It is obsoluntly frustrating and not helpful. I appreciate the receptionist are experiencing lack of resources but are they being monitored with performance indicators . This practice needs an overhaul and filter out incompetent practice.

Review titled high standard of care provided
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Lisa Jolea Cane - Posted on 07 April 2023
i would like to review good practice. my mother was seen on 4th april by a gp and bloods taken. it is always appropriate to comment on the good practice received. the gp demonstated excellent patient care and provided details of possible diagnosis. arranged for blood tests to be taken. my mother always suffers from having bloods taken. however, on this occasion the process was obsoluntly amazing there was no pain and swiftly over. my mother commented and I was amazed. fabulous skills demonstated the least evasive blood test procedure she has experienced. also, a big thank to you, during the time blood tests were taken, your manner was exceptional towards my mother who was greated and treated with compassion, dignity and felt valued. overall, what a kind and compassionate individual you are. be proud you are inspirational. 5 star for care services. appreciated.
