Review titled Unable to get appointments
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 23 April 2024
It is very difficult to get an appointment at this surgery. My mother called at 8:00 this morning to get an appointment and was caller no 3. When she got through to the surgery, they said that all appointments had now been filled. This is absolutely ridiculous and in all honesty absolute rubbish. How is it possible that all appointments for the day had been filled within ten minutes of my mother calling? The receptionist then proceeded to say that they were no available appointments for the next two weeks, but then somehow managed to give my mother a telephone appointment for a weeks time, which is still a long time for my mother to wait to speak with a GP. The behaviour of the receptionists is extremely bad. They are rude and ill mannered and definitely need a course on how to conduct themselves and how to speak with their patients. The level of service and care at this surgery has diminished significantly over the years which is disheartening. Perhaps they need to stop accepting new patients as they are unable to provide good service and care to the 3700+ patients they have already on their books. If you are looking to get an on the day appointment, beware you are to be disappointed, as most likely than not they will give you an appointment in two weeks even if you are the first in the queue on the phone. The surgery really needs to to buck up their service otherwise they will continue to receive bad reviews as they have done.

Review titled Worst surgery
Rated 1 star out of 5

I was put on hold for 1 hour because the staff has ‘finished her shift’ but after 1 hour she came back to me and said ‘we are busy, call back later’ and hung up on me. This is the worst surgery ever. Staff are very rude and unhelpful. I seriously don’t understand what they get paid for. Management are useless and do nothing.

Review titled Impossible to get an appointment

They will register you, but good luck ever seeing a GP. The econsultation form is a waste of time, you may get an appointment for several days later at another practice. If you are in pain, it makes no difference. There is nothing "urgent" to them. They tell you to go to A&E instead, this is why the NHS is struggling. A&E will tell you to go to your GP.
