    I would like to share the very efficient care I feel that I have received from the surgery with the thorough checks of any health issues I have had of late. I started on HRT about 1 year ago and felt like I was treated incredibly well, everything was explained to me so that I could make an informed choice and I have felt that I have had my hand held by the doctors that I have spoken to all the way through. The follow up has been incredible, with any problems that I have had being dealt with efficiently and very quickly. Although most of my appointments are by phone, which suits me due to work, I feel a personal touch has always been shown. I have been with this surgery for over 20 years and feel like I am still receiving a personal touch from all at the staff at the surgery.

    I am generally in favour of telephone triage as often you just need to speak to someone for advice, yet there is a problem with the fact that they can't even give you an approximate time when the doctor will call, which means you have to wait all day and it's always the moment you need to do something that you miss the call, there is never a message left and you can't call back. Some people are not able to wait all day for a phone call if they have no idea when it will be. Better management of this phone call system would really help patients. This is a great surgery in general, but this phone appointment system (or lack of a system) really lets them down. Also having to listen to the Covid spiel for a whole minute before the call makes calling such a drawn-out process. I'm sure many people are putting off having things checked out due to this convoluted process, I know I am! In some cases this putting off going could be deadly, so I really think they need to sort this issue out.

    Dear Patient Thanks for your feedback We agree telephone call backs is a convenient way for patients and clinicians to manage some medical issues. Also we do have a policy of providing a 2 hour time frame to patients. We will reiterate this to our receptionists and in future if you are not given a 2 hour time frame please report it to our practice managers, thanks
