Review titled Efficient practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Eileen bye - Posted on 16 August 2024
It was easy to communicate, I received a prompt response and appointment with the GP; the GP took the time to explain what the indications meant, so I left the appointment better informed and hence less concerned. The referral was then made and notified the same day. Very efficient and reassuring.

The nurse who gave me the ECG was kind and helpful. It is wonderful to have local care to which I can walk.

Review titled Poor website and phone system
by Ruth Crowther - Posted on 13 August 2024
When I eventually spoke to a Dr, I had excellent advice. It was just the tortuous badly designed website and awful phone system together with a receptionist who didn’t listen to my queries, which made this a bad experience. I could have so easily given up and this took 4 phone calls and 2 visits to the surgery to resolve. No easy when you have a leg in a cast

The GP I saw was excellent in every way. She took her time to listen, gave good consideration to all aspects of my case and was extremely helpful. Really good interpersonal skills.

Review titled Poor service
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by HELINE KEARNEY-GULBRANSEN - Posted on 09 July 2024
I arrived at the Drs 6 mins late after trying to park and there was a queue at the check in machine they said I was too late surely there is a time allocated to each slot and she could have still seen me even with a shorter appointment ! At virtually every appointment the Dr is running late just cancelling my appointment for 6 mins is ridiculous

It is essential that I have access to a clinician local to my home. Able to walk to Dr’s appointment with wheels. (Walking with a helper.)

Review titled Told me to live with the pain!
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 24 July 2024
I was seen by a physiotherapist who told me he believes that I have damaged the cartilage in my knee and the only thing available to me is to do some exercises. Some years ago I had a similarly undiagnosed problem with my other knee however I had an MRI scan that eventually resulted in an arthroscopy. Since then I have had no pain in the knee that was operated on. I was told that the NHS guidance is not to sends people for MRI scans. I can only assume this policy is to save the NHS money.
