Review titled Great GPs
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Hellen phillimore - Posted on 25 August 2024
On this occasion my telephone appointment failed to connect. I was unable to have my discussion with the Dr. A message was left to say that the Dr would try again. This did not happen. A text message came at the end of the day to tell me to book another appointment but when I tried the Dr needed was not on the list of Drs I could book with. A receptionist did book me in over the phone but not for another two weeks.

Saw Dr cg Yesterday, she was incredibly knowledgeable. She was very open to discussions about medication. Giving her opinion but leaving the ultimate decision to myself.

Review titled A Helpful Practice
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 September 2024
The Lodge Practice were able to accept me as a temporary patient while I was staying in the area, and I was relieved to find I still received a prompt and thorough consultation with follow up blood tests and an xray, which meant I didn't lose time in getting a treatment to my condition.

Review titled Hit and Miss
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Sometimes they are amazing and respond to expnsults and book appointments really quickly.... Other times, good look getting a response and getting an appointment! Also one receptionist has been so rude to me down the phone when I was pregnant, I cried. Later that day, after my colleague told me I had to call back, I was sent to a&e and admitted to hospital. There was some initial teething issues with expnsults, and receptionists being rude with you calling to book appointments, when you can't submit e consults for young babies. Not sure if this has been rectified but it made me really anxious to seek help for my baby when it was needed as I knew it would be a battle. The rate in which they refer to 111 is ridiculous. I feel like your GP should be your first port of call, not 111 because your GP is unavailable. However, there has also been times where there has been a quick response to the econsult. Having to travel into St Albans for appointments is not ideal.
