Review titled Great patient service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Jackie - Posted on 27 March 2024
Two weeks ago, I rang at 8am to try and get a GP appointment on a Thursday but there were none left. I then made use of the econsult form and somebody telephoned me within the hour to offer me a double face to face appointment with a GP the following afternoon. The GP was running late for my appointment but I was impressed with her advice and the plan of action regarding my care. I actually received relevant information by text the same evening at 7.30pm. When I went to complete a primary care self referral, I couldn’t click on the link but when I emailed the surgery to explain this, I was sent the text again where I was able to activate the link I am very impressed with this surgery and its treatment of patients, particularly in these hard times.

Thanks for sharing your positive experience with your GP surgery, despite the initial challenge of scheduling an appointment. It's great to hear that they were responsive to your needs, offering you an appointment through the econsult form and following up promptly. The fact that you received relevant information by text the same evening shows their commitment to efficient communication. Moreover, their responsiveness to your email regarding the primary care self-referral link demonstrates their dedication to ensuring patients have access to necessary resources. It's wonderful to hear that you're impressed with the level of care and service provided by the surgery, especially during challenging times. It's essential to acknowledge and appreciate healthcare providers who go above and beyond to support their patients. Your positive feedback can encourage and motivate our team to continue delivering excellent care. Kind Regards Mohammad Serneabat Patient service manager

Review titled Very unprofessional
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Marta - Posted on 27 March 2024
I have ear infection for 3 weeks already. Witch 2 weeks I'm on the phone from 8-9 trying to book appointment. I have been in pharmacist took what ever they advised me to take. Still suffering with pain and hearing loss. Still haven't been able to book appointment. I see why emergency services are packed with unnecessary people who can't get through their GP. When u gonna do something about this? NHS ruining it self. U there for people and it's look like is quite opposite. From our taxes we can't get help we need. Frustrating.

Review titled Great Service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Carly - Posted on 21 March 2024
I have recently moved to this surgery as my last one was completely useless. I have been impressed with the service so far. Although the waiting times to get an appointment can be frustrating this seem to be the case everywhere. The ladies in the office are always friendly and helpful on the phone and because of them and the e-consult service I have finally been able to chase a referral that I have been trying to get to the bottom of for almost year. Thank you

Review titled Disgusting service
Rated 1 star out of 5

was told i needed an urgent CT scan and that it could take up to 2 weeks - this was 10 days ago only to find out the CT department have not received a CT scan referral and the doctors confirmed that one hasnt even been done. Doctor informed me that he would put an urgent chaser on it on Monday (Day 7) but it is only being put through today for the 2 week lead time (Day 10) only because i chased the doctors and the hospital - imagine if I hadnt how long would i be waiting. Bloods and X-ray show that there could be something that needs urgently treating but for some reason there has been no urgency! I have asked for a call back only to be told there are no appointments today and no doctor tomorrow. I have been called in for two appointments for the same X-ray - bloods taken by someone who didnt know why i was having bloods taken

I'm truly sorry to hear about your ongoing struggle with your ear infection and the difficulties you've faced trying to book a GP appointment. Given the challenges you've encountered with phone lines, have you considered utilising the e-consultation service offered by your GP surgery? This online platform may provide a more efficient way to communicate your symptoms and concerns. If your symptoms persist despite pharmacist-recommended medication, seeking medical attention promptly is crucial. While I understand your frustration, persisting in seeking help, whether through e-consultation or continued attempts to book an appointment, is important for your health. Your feedback sheds light on important issues in accessing timely healthcare. Providers need to be aware of these challenges to improve service delivery and ensure better access for all. Please reach out if you need further assistance or support. Your health is important, and it's essential to prioritise getting the care you need. Kind regards Mohammad Serneabat Patient service manager

Review titled Atrocious People Skills
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Steve Cummings - Posted on 25 May 2023
After waiting 4 days for a GP phone appointment I finally received a phone call from a rude female GP. After taking a few moments to describe the nature of my why I needed treatment, I was cut off and was asked rudely why I was even making an appointment. When replying that I was referred from my hospital to my GP, I was again cut off and coldly told to go back to them. I told her that she seemed annoyed that I’ve made an appointment, to which she said “have a nice day” and promptly put the phone down on me.
