Unfortunately have had to visit both Iver & Iver Heath a few times recently. Reception ladies have been great, doing their utmost to find appointments or arrange phone calls. The nurse I saw yesterday took her time to explain my diagnosis, new medication and how to ensure I remain well, I had also spoken with a GP earlier in the week. The GP Registrars in training take their time, ask relevant questions and assured me that at the end of the day they discuss their patients with one of the GP partners to ensure that they have taken the right action and call the patient if any 'tweaks' are needed. As always our GPs are on the ball, diagnosis, treatment, referral etc., reassuring the patients. I particularly want to mention a very young lady GP who I saw about a month or more ago at Iver Heath, she was just so kind & lovely, knew her 'stuff', went out of her way to reassure me, I felt as though I had had the best appointment possible. In the 37 years my family have been with Iver Medical Centre we have seen Doctors come & go, some we mention to today's Dr's with fond memories, we tend to forget that as we age so do the doctors. I have only had cause to complain once in those years, fairly recently, an issue caused by professionals not knowing me and why a course of action had been taken, easily sorted. My only criticism would be that maybe newer reception staff have more training around Mental Health, I am supporting a friend & neighbour whose son is very fragile mentally & has difficulty with his medication, still trying to find the right medication etc. He ran out of medication recently and rang the surgery, whoever he spoke to did not appear to realise the importance of him having his medication and that he cannot just go without. He has often been just a short distance from suicidal thoughts. I don't know the answer to this, maybe a designated person to call him back, maybe one of the Pharmacists. I know you flag vulnerable patients, maybe something similar for people with fragile mental health I am not writing this from the position of lack of knowledge, I am a retired nurse with almost 50 years in the NHS some of that with people with Complex mental health needs. Thank you Iver Medical Centre for all that you do for the people in the Ivers.

Great practice always very helpful and very efficient and dedicated at doing their job properly. I even got a call later on in the day after my visit in the morning informing me that I needed to answer a few more questions on my condition after a discussion had taken place with a colleague. I was then informed by the Doctor to attend Accident and Emergency to get further checked. A dedicated and professional practice.

I needed an emergency appointment on the day which was very easily made for me by the receptionist. The doctor I saw was very thorough and caring, I was able to be seen and prescription given as needed. Great service.

The receptionist are very freindly when speaking on the telephone and try there best to help. It is hard to get a face to face appointment normaly its a telephone call.which sometimes isn't the best.

Lovely lady at Iver Heath who took my blood sample. Very speedy. Very proficient. Most importantly, as I’m needle phobic, successful at the first time of trying. Merry Christmas.

I called yesterday morning to ask about earliest availability to see a doctor and was able to be seen yesterday afternoon. My recent experiences for my family with surgery have all been positive with more access to either phone or face to face appt than previously.

My son was very unwell and the wonderful nurse came to the car to assess him, also grabbing a sick bowl to help with the situation at hand! Overall a fantastic service was provided and my son who is also autistic had a very smooth and caring experience! Little things like this go a very long way with him so thank you very much for making it as pain free as possible! Couldn’t recommend this surgery enough! The receptionist, Levi, was also so lovely and so very helpful!
