  1. Review titled Listened to me

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Joanne - Posted on 14 June 2024

I was dreading phoning GP to get an appointment… that tiresome wait on the phone. But I chose the ring back option, they phoned me later, I was given an appointment for the same day and have had regular follow up appointments ever since. All clinicians listened, explained and acted. Exactly what you want from a GP, when you are unwell.

  3. Review titled Unable to get through to surgery

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 June 2024

Have spent an hour and a half this morning and forty minutes this afternoon on hold trying to speak to someone regarding an important referral that has not been made. I tried every option all saying a 30 minute wait but from my experience this morning this is clearly not the case. The phoneline message is now telling people to call 111 or go to A&E, as a healthcare professional who has worked in A&E I can now see why the Conquest is over run with patients that should be seen in primary care

  4. Review titled Excellent receptionist

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Penny Phillips - Posted on 14 May 2024

The receptionist in Fairlight Road on 9/5/24 was superb. She was cheerful, and very efficient with dealing with all the early patients who were handing in urine specimens. One was complaining about a previous staff member but she remained calm and just got on with her job. Thank you

  5. Review titled lack of care and concern

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 June 2024

My son was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder following several breakdowns, an appointment at the surgery and a follow up with specialist mental health services. Following psychiatric assessment he was prescribed anti-psychotic drugs. The hill surgery were asked by the specialist service to provide access to onging treatment, via a repeat prescription - however they have not done so. Both my son and I are extremely alarmed and the thought of medication (which is due for renewal) stopping abruptly, with no medical advice or support. I am trying to contact the surgery without success - I have waited over 90 minutes to speak to reception with no success. I can only assume that at this point we atre expected to give up on the medication prescribed by th mental health specialists...and await the consequences.

  7. Review titled Impossible to contact

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 June 2024

Was prescribed strong medicine from mental health consultant who emphasised that it must be taken regularly, and requested that GP should organize repeat prescription. GP failed to do this, but it was impossible to get in contact with surgery despite waiting on phone all afternoon.

  8. Review titled Excellent GP consultation

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 May 2024

It’s the first time a GP has really listened and spent considerable time explaining the treatment options and the reasons he feels they will result in positive outcomes. I didn’t feel rushed, he was engaging, professional and articulated everything at a level I understood, allowing me to make informed choices. I came away feeling valued and very positive.

  10. Review titled In-surgery experience positive

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Getting an appointment remains challenging although today I got lucky. Once at the surgery, the care and follow up was excellent and both the GP and the reception team were friendly and helpful.
