    Great vacation service.other than that very poor. Impossible to get appointments..can't even get to talk to the receptionist..app Impossible to book an appointment too...they always got am excuse for poor phone problems....thinking of leaving but rhey would like that...not fit for purpose..

    Absolutely amazing service. I only delivered Mum's prescription request late in the evening. Just after 10am the very next morning I received a phone call to discuss it, the admin assistant had already phoned to pharmacy on my behalf to make sure of something and then put the request through. Also, she confirmed details that she had passed on to the home visit team already. Amazing service yet again from this surgery...it doesn't surprise me. These people really do care abouts their patients and the people looking after them. Highly recommended.

    Following a text message from Willow Surgery I went online to book an appointment for a flu vaccine. Given various options, booked and received a confirmation text. Attended the clinic and was vaccinated and out within 10 minutes. Very efficient service.

    I was rung by a member of Downend Health Group's medical team to discuss a very overdue letter from Southmead hospital. She was very professional, empathetic and lucid. I was very impressed and felt in safe hands.

    I had to go in for an appointment that was very concerning and was causing a lot of anxiety but the GP who saw me (both for my initial appointment and a follow up 2 weeks later) was absolutely amazing, really calmed me down and even got me laughing. The GP explained the onward referral process thoroughly and took the time to make sure I wasn’t scared or anxious about it. Passed on contact information immediately rather than having to wait for letters etc to come through in case I need to contact the hospital for the referral

    My shingles jab was a very pleasant experience, nurse N Cox, was extremely obliging and amenable, she explained everything about the vacation, and possible side effects. I was even given the “Zostavax” information leaflet, which confirmed the information she had told me while preparing and administrating the vacation. I was made to feel at ease throughout the whole process, well done Nicky Cox practice nurse

    My 83 years old mother has spend two hours a day, everyday this week attempting to book an appointment to see a doctor, she has never had anything more than an engaged tone. When will something be done about this surgery? I have friends and colleagues who are registered with other local surgeries and never have this problem and don't have to wait for weeks to see a doctor. I have been with this surgery for 50 years (since birth) and will now sadly be looking to go elsewhere. Why can you not book an appointment online in this day and age, you are letting your patients down and don't seem to care or have any interest in changing your antiquated system that clearly doesn't work.

    An appointment was put on the NHS website for me for today. I had no idea it was there and it was only luck that I saw it. I could not get through to anyone in the surgery, they do not take email messages. So I walked all the way from my home to the surgery, getting breathless and with a bad back with several stops along the way to be told that its a phone appointment. OK I thought, and have stayed in waiting and waiting for the phone appointment to happen....nothing happened, I wasted a whole day waiting for this non existent phone call. Christchurch and its partner the Willows are at the bottom of my list for people who do not consider their patients. It is not the first time this has happened. There is never an apology. If the tables were turned and I didn't turn up. They would be up in arms about people who do not turn up for appointments yet it appears to be OK for doctors to let patients down.
