I was seen by a paramedic in the night as I was in excruciating lower back pain, muscle spasm. He arranged for an urgent call from my GP for a prescription of Codeine. Unfortunately I couldn’t reach my phone to answer the call from the receptionist and my husband quickly rang back but was told the Dr was called away. I understand this of course, I am not urgent, just in horrible pain but was told no other appointment was available today, I only needed a prescription, surely a 5 minute talk could be offered from another Dr! A sad state of affairs,

I rang for an appointment at 8.00am today (25.1.23) and was seen at 10.15, with follow up blood tests done an hour later. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses of the Charlbury Medical Centre.
