    Wonderful caring nurse recently carried out a first time routine screening test for my daughter with great sensitivity and understanding. She was extremely patient and explained everything clearly.

    After being told my MRI scan result had come back the receptionist told me the Doctor would like to see me,I was then told I had a choice either 5 weeks wait to see the Doctor in person or 4 weeks wait for a telephone appointment, 4 weeks for a phone call from the Doctor is ridiculous to say the least, And yet they are advertising "Accepting new patients" Doctors surgeries should not be allowed to accept new patients when their waiting times to get an appointment are so long

    Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback. Our list size has, and continues to, grow at a rapid rate. We are not permitted to close the list (ie to refuse new patient applications within our catchment area) without going through a lengthy process which is not encouraged by NHS England or the local NHS Bodies. We are working at maximum capacity and are sorry that patients are met with wait times. Please be assured that we are constantly reviewing our services to try and offer the best service we possibly can in the current economic climate. Paula Elliott Practice Manager
