    I was a patient at the Allum practice from 1987 to 2000 and then from 2011 until now. I have been very few times in recent years and a lot of this is to do with the impossible appointments process. I have said this to the GPs. When you do get to see a GP they are extremely good but trying to get an appointment is off-putting. I left in tears today. I don't blame the reception staff but the system is ridiculous and serves no- one.

    Yesterday I called and explained I was experiencing headaches, sore throat, body aches and general fatigue over the weekend. I explained my throat had become worse, with me experiencing pain when I swallow and I had white spots on my tonsils. I was told I'd receive a call back the same day, but I didn't. When I called the Allum Practice about it this morning, I was told I was called on my house phone twice and there was no mobile number on the system. This is not true, as someone in employment I always receive calls back via my mobile. I received a call last month on my mobile from a doctor. Today I was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to call back at 8am due to their mistake
