    We applied to join the practice on Wednesday. Before doing so we telephone and received detailed guidance as to how to use the website. Last night , Thursday we received a welcoming confirmation that we had joined. I telephoned to enquire about how to book an appointment to the named secretary of the named Partner to whom we had been allocated. We were delighted to learn that we could telephone and talk to a person to do this. This was not possible at our previous practice and caused much frustration. In many ways they seemed not to want to see patients and made most dealings complex and created obstacles to human interaction. Both of the ladies to whom we spoke were clear and precise with their answers as well as being friendly and welcoming. Given the attitude of the previous practice we had been nervous about the application to join as we have moved house. We are very grateful that the Allan practice has been so welcoming. Thank you again.

    It has been a month of several tests and communications with the Allen Practice. I feel overwhelmed in their professionalism of care and responses.

    When I contacted my GP Practice, my medical issue was triaged as potentially urgent and a same week appointment was offered by a friendly and supportive Secretary. GP’s knowledge and care was great, and I was especially pleased with the follow up calls and text messages I received to update me on the hospital referral process. Very happy with the service from start to finish and would recommend the Allan Practice to others.

    I had an attack of gout early in the morning, called my GP’s lovely Secretary to ask for an urgent prescription of Colchicine, she obtained it and it was at my pharmacy in time to collect the medication within 3 hours of my request. Brilliant

    I have been with this practice for over 20 years and without exception, the care, professionalism, expertise and human approach is always excellent. My recent experience is part of an annual health review which was carried out well with lots of supportive advice and feedback

    I had a telephone consultation with my GP which was good. However as with many GP practices it is virtually impossible to get a face to face appointment within a reasonable time ie when you are unwell. By the time you see the doctor you will either be cured or dead. Frankly it seems that GPs have carried on as if the Covid Pandemic is ongoing.

    My 91 year old mother received a home visit to give her a medical check up. The service was excellent. The medic was thoughtful,thorough and when I spoke to him he was very professional and extremely helpful . An excellent service

    I had a telephone consultation with my GP. She was sympathetic, took time to understand my symptoms and explained the various treatment options and dosage regime. All my concerns were addressed and links promptly sent for tests and prescriptions. I am very impressed with quality of care and service.
