  2. Review titled Poor practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Layla - Posted on 27 September 2024

We registered with this practice last year, and to date, they still haven't got our medical records from our last gp. They told us to call our previous gp to send it over, but the previous gp will only send it if they are requested from them, and hadley reception has been informed, but still, nothing has been done. When spoken to the reception at the practice they tell you something and when you call up they tell you something totally different. Asked for some medicals which is work related, they said to pay first and everything will be booked. Paid and no tests booked. 28 days later forms filled by doctor but no tests booked. Now they are telling me that it should have been booked on the day I paid. Are your receptionists qualified to make medical decisions for your patients? Because when you explain the reason for wanting to seeing a nurse or doctor they disagree with you seeing one. Then why are there doctors and nurses in your practice? Last time I called in, they refer me to just go down to a local pharmacist, did that and the pharmacist said you need to see the gp because that's serious. I'm moving to another practice. Won't recommend this gp to anyone. No accountability, no compassion, no care in this practice. If you love and care about your family take them somewhere else.
