    From the Doctor that I had a telephone consultation with regarding my daughter, to the staff on reception, a great big thank you to you all for always being so friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and professional. I appreciate and thank you all again for always "going above and beyond to help

    I sent an email asking for a repeat prescription to be sent to my preferred pharmacy. One item was sent electronically. The other 12 items the Prescription was Printed instead of being sent electronically so when I went to the chemist I had one item. Response was..."you now need to collect the paper prescription and take it to the chemist yourself". After doing this, I found they have missed one item off. Something that should be so simple - repeat prescriptions- is now apparently a major chore

    This practice is not doing very well…I am constantly running out of Insulin…the Pharmacy that operates out of this practice is a wage of time. Also I have asked the receptionist to change to another one..she did it on screen for me..but when I telephoned to ask the new pharmacy they had not received any prescription. When I rang the receptionist again she told me it hadn’t been changed…what are they doing… I am not the only one who is complaining about prescriptions.

    Dear Patient I am sorry to hear the problems you have been experiencing with your pharmacy although, I do not manage the pharmacy and therefore am unable to deal with your pharmacy related issues.     Some staff are amazing friendly and very good with myself and my family. There are other staff for example the pharmacy side that are rude. Don't have enough time for you and have disgusting attitude towards patients. The girls that are now on reception are lovely. They are very helpful and are nice and polite which is massive improvement. I don't hate the surgery but sometimes trying to get an appointment or prescriptions is horrendous. Especially prescriptions they left me without my medication for a whole week which I then became unwell and having 3 young children didn't help me at all. The pharmacist was a nasty man who thought he was better than me and spoke to me asif I didn't exist. I trying calling the pharmacy to see if my prescription was done. No one picked up all day. When I went the same day I asked why the phone wasn't being picked up as it was also ringing when I got there. He told me my prescription would be ready in 5 mins. I said well if the call was picked up I would have known and knew I was going to be. Late to pick my son up. He then looked at me with the prescription in his hand and slammed it down on the side picked the phone up and said to me see I can pick the phone up. Left me waiting for 20 mins for my prescription which then I was even later picking my son up as he said it would only take 5 minutes max But the surgry itself I think since employing more or new staff has improved a little bit especially reception

    Waited for pharmacy to answer my call and I gave up after a frustrating 30 minutes. I called the surgery Wednesday afternoon (05/04/23) to see if they were able to help resolve my issue. My mother received her medication within three hours later. I would like to thank this receptionist for all her professional help at a time when needed.

    Tried getting an appointment, phoned 4 mornings at 8 am. Was number 20, first day, number 11, second day, number 14 , third day and number 10 on the fourth day. When I got through all appointments have gone!!! You can see the pharmacist or phone 111 and they can get you an appointment. Well No I don’t want to do that I want to see a GP in the practice. I feel unwell and would like an appointment. How many appointments are available each day because when you phone it doesn’t feel like there are many.perhaps more doctors in the surgery might help!

    I had a query about an overdue repeat prescription. The response my wife got from the recipient of my request was downright rude. She gave the distinct impression that my wife should know the answer without ringing! I have the name of the person , and will gladly provide this information. From recent contact, prior to today, 28/03/2023 11.00hrs approx, the customer/patient contact was improving. Finally we as agging pensioners, one disabled, we do not deserve this treatment!

    review on behalf of parent receiving palliative care. called for a repeat prescription of one item however, after 3 days (not including weekend) haven't received item or notification of any delays. called gp practice for update; advised that a prescription has been processed by doctor for every single medication/item on parents records and sent to swanpool pharmacy. this is a waste of money. only one item was requested - either message hasn't been passed on correctly by reception staff or doctor is too busy to review with patient or myself. the process has left parent in pain, frustrated and very upset.

    Booked me in for my pill review with a new nurse. Didn’t tell me that she can’t authorise prescriptions upon booking the appointment, appointment was on a Friday had to send prescription off to be authorised by receptionist who said to call back monday. Called back still hasn’t been authorised it could be another day or two, after that it could be another 48 hours until it reaches the pharmacy. Receptionist advised there’s nothing they can do and that I can’t get an emergency prescription so I’ve literally been left with no pill through no fault of my own. Shocking! Never had a good experience for years and this is the icing on the cake. Shouldn’t have a nurse who can’t authorise prescriptions, or should make you aware at the time of booking the appointment.
