Very nice doctor and explained everything to me very helpful and I'm happy to see him be lovely if we all had doctors like him

I visited the Swanpool GP and had a wonderful experience.The reception was warm and welcoming ,making me feel at ease .The GP was attentive, friendly ,well knowledgeable.l appreciate the time and booked for further tests to address my issues .Thank for the excellent care and warm reception.

Tried to get a doctors appointment to get my sick note renewed. Told to phone back next day at 8am as they had no apps. - Phoned next day and was told the same - Phoned next day and was told the same again. This is a constant problem at this surgery, there is no way you can get an appointment. How on earth all the appointment are gone by 8.15am I don't know. How many appointments have they got a day 5?. Twice now I have been threatened with having my disability benefit stopped because I can't get my note renewed on time. Something needs to be done about the appointments system - surely someone at the surgery is clever enough to see this - or maybe not? Complained to NHS england but nothing done yet.

It's very hard to get an appointment as other reviewers have said but that's the case for many other surgeries. Once you do get an appointment, the doctors are great. I had a really lovely doctor the last time I went who took my symptoms seriously despite me being a younger woman. I've found some doctors can be dismissive if you're young and/or a woman. I've seen a big improvement in the quality of the service from when I joined to now.

As a result of a consultation an urgent referral was requested by the Doctor. I received very prompt attention in a caring and professional manner. Subsequent and ongoing wound care from Practice Nurse continues to be given to me in an exemplary way. I have only positive comments regarding the Practice, Doctors, Nurse and Reception staff.

Recently I underwent surgery on my toes. I received excellent post surgery care from the nursing staff. They were superb and aided my rapid recovery. Well done and thank you. My husband has been in today for his B12 despite his disabilities he was treated with care and respect. Quite often he feels anxious but he was completely relaxed. Thank you once again. Far too often we have complaints but there are many instances of good practice which are not shared. I am sure they far outweigh the negatives. We rarely visit the surgery as we try not to burden them with minor issues but I'm happy with the service we have been given. Thank you once again.

Tried to get an appointment today and was only offered a pharmacist appointment . This was concerning an ongoing hip problem that was checked by this practice eight months but nothing was done after ex ray from a previous appointment pain still ongoing for over two years . Why did I not get referred after ex ray and why can you not get appointments with this practice .

Once you manage to make an appointment (which could be challenging) tge drs are actually very good, they do listen with compassion and act fast.

The receptionists and Doctors do a fantastic job but the appointments system is not fit for purpose. You compete in the 8am mad dash, appointments are gone very quickly. Is the problem lack of doctors or pre bookable appointments taking all the available appointments, weeks in advance? There are no online bookable appointments available. What are you supposed to do if you feel unwell?
