    Felt listened to and I feel they will get to the cause of my illness, the doctor was attentive and seemed to understand how I felt.

    The online form system is excellent. I have been very impressed with the service that was given to my mother. The person we saw took time to listen , gave empathetic care and gave great advice and this gave my mother reassurance. I understand that the NHS is very stretched but we still given great service. Thank you.

    The doctors themselves are generally helpful. But the practice makes it difficult to access them. The online form forces you to takes ages to input lots of information the surgery already has - instead of having a simple login system like other surgeries. Every time you phone up you have to sit through the same interminable recorded messages even before you get into the long queue to speak to a receptionist. My experience and that of friends has been that when they are supposed to call you, they claim they’ve tried and it’s not been answered, even though no missed call is registered on your phone. Receptionists very variable in experience and efficiency. All in all, very frustrating

    Dear patient, thank you for your feedback which will help to improve patient experience. Our website including the online forms are shared with other local practices and are the same throughout. We suggest that filling in an online form is the quickest and safest way to get in touch with us. We apologise if you had to wait on the phone for a prolonged period of time. If you can send us a message via our website of when you were meant to have got a phone call, we can investigate into what happened.     I sent a message via the website this morning asking for help as my cold has turned into a chest infection (asthmatic). I was sent a message asking further questions and then, typically, in the 2 mins I popped to the bathroom, they called back and then texted to say could I call to book an appointment. I've now been on hold (screenshots) for 2hrs 47mins and 45 of those are No. 1 in the queue! I started at No. 15. This is utterly ridiculous! How can anyone be 45 minutes as the first caller in the queue? The system is so desperately broken it's beyond a joke now. What are the receptionists doing?

We are in the process of making changes to our phone system as well as recruiting more staff members. I can seee that you were given an appointment the next day and that you have spoken to our Practice Manager to explain what happened. We suggest to patients to contact us via the website when possible as it is the quickest way to get in touch with us.     I have had several instances this year to contact this surgery and every time their response has been efficient, empathetic and kind- no more so than during my recent concern where the prompt action of the GP and the kind and empathetic care of the receptionists have helped me through a diagnosis of cancer I have no hesitation in recommending this surgery particularly in the light of the growing demands on their services

    After my parents have been with this practice since 1960 somethg, now in their 80’s my dad in particular very unwell, had to call out the emergency services on Saturday, was told to book a doctors appointment first thing Monday, got an appointment at 3pm with a trainee paramedic as no doctors available, all sick apparently! My father is very poorly and the service he is being given is appalling he has been unwell for months, this surgery needs to seriously look at the service they provide. I am absolutely shocked and disappointed at this appalling service!!!! They should be ashamed!!!!

    Dear patient, thank you for your feedback which can help us to learn if things have gone wrong. We are sorry that your Dad is unwell. As we are a training practice, we are helping to train a wide variety of clinicians. They are all supported by the Duty Doctor of the day who oversees them. Indeed, one of our Doctors was off ill yesterday however the Duty Doctor was still there supporting the clinical staff.     Terrible service always passing from pillar to post and not bothered about treating the symptoms just the numbers . Been passed from doctor to doctor for years with no avail which lead to self medication . Very unorganised and only care about get through patients rather than attending the actual issues would not recommend to anyone

    I have been upset by the lack of care and compassion at this surgery. Trying to get through on the phone regularly involves waits for more than an hour. If you happen to fall ill after 3pm you can’t be seen as the booking system closes. It is impossible to get an appointment with a doctor as paramedics and nurses appear to handle everything. Physicians assistants and paramedics stand in for doctors. Some reception staff are rude and uncaring. I fear for patient safety.

    Dear patient, thank you for your feedback which can help us make improvements. Our clinical forms on our website are open from 8am until 3pm weekdays. After 3pm we can be contacted via phone if the request is urgent for the day. This approach is not uncommon and has also been adopted at other practices due to the high workload. The same applies to having other clinicians in the practice who support our Doctors e.g. Paramedic Practitioner, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and unfortunately recruitment for trained GPs is a national problem. Also, we are a training practice and help to train a wide variety of clinicians. Since October 2022 we are now open until 8pm on weekdays and 9am-5pm on Saturdays for pre-booked appointments and are now therefore able to offer more appointments for our patients. We are sorry that you feel our reception staff have been uncaring. If you please contact us via our website, we can look into your points in more detail and respond to you personally.     I went for my Flu vaccination and my experience was Excellent and Wonderful. I did not have to wait long, as all very Punctual. All Staff members were very friendly and very Informative. Very, very Happy with the Excellent Service. I Highly Recommend this Surgery.
