    The practice states to use e-consult forms for routine appointments between 8 am - 3 pm but often this service is not available and when trying to use it says your practice is not accepting e-consult forms today try again tomorrow at 8 am. We all lead busy lives and it is extremely annoying to have to keep trying. I have tried several times to complete the form and have not be able to. Since covid the practice seems to have made it very hard to get appointments.

    Dear patient Thank you for comments and I am sorry you are finding it difficult to get an appointment. We try to keep the e-consult system on line for as long as possible during the day but sometimes when demand is too high we have to limit access for patient safety reasons, however if your clinical need is urgent and cannot wait for a routine appointment then please contact the reception to get added to their list.     Had pneumonia jab by the nurse.. very informative about the jab and efficient in administering the injection.

    I arrived punctually and registered my arrival. Took a seat in the waiting area and was called within 10 mins. The nurse was very nice,quick and the procedure was painless.Thank you

    My appointment was with a Nurse who was very efficient had everything ready for the appointment. Explained what was going to happen- to phone for another appointment if I needed more help with equipment. Also told me what I am entitled to .

    I have patient access- message facility not available. I have records at Southampton Hospital, St Thomas’ Hospital, Queen Alexandra hospital and my Gp practice. They each act independently from an IT perspective. Why in this day and age can they not communicate with each other? Why am I unable to access my own records without having to raise a subject access request? I have received 2 text messages asking me to contact the surgery to arrange a cardiac review, when I contacted the surgery I was informed that there were no appointments available - waste of everyone’s time!

    Dear Mr Richards I am sorry that you are having problems with patient access. Please contact the surgery for help in rectifying the issue. You say you have also been unable to get a nurse appointment following an invite from the practice. Unfortunately it will be timing as the vacant appointments would have been taken by other patients who have also been invited. Please try again as appointments are added frequently.
