When I attended my diabetes review earlier this month. It was like walking into sunshine. It was a pleasure to attend. All people need appointments like this. They lighten spirits and lengthen life. It was a pleasure to attend. Can't wait for my next appointment.

Today I have had an injection in my knee for severe arthritis, which I only had to wait a few weeks for. I have been with stourside practice for 29 years. I have never had a problem getting an appointment or seeing a doctor even for emergencies.All the staff, doctors, nurses and anyone else connected are friendly and helpful. Even hospital appointments come through quickly. There is so much bad press these days about doctors surgeries, I would just like to to big them up and express how grateful I am to be a patient at this practice.

I needed to see a Doctor / Clinician as soon as possible; the reception staff advised me how to go about making an urgent appointment and that went well. Doctor was courteous and thorough and concerned to provide treatment. A good experience from a 'patient's perspective'.

Me and my family have been with the practice for nearly 10 years. Most of the receptionists are really helpful and can usually get an appointment if call at 8am or 2:30pm. The nurses are great, they always take their time when my children have had any jabs and made a fuss of them. The doctors have been great too. Especially recently when my 12 year old daughter needed antibiotics for tonsillitis at the start of the week, she didn’t get any better so I took her back a few days later and the doctor was concerned about her being so poorly and advised us to go to hospital. Within 20 minutes of the appointment time the doctor had contacted the children’s ward at RHH and wrote a referral out to take with us and told us what ward to go to when arrived at RHH. My daughters tonsillitis had turned into Glandular fever and she was kept in hospital. She is out now and feeling much better. I am so grateful to the GP service and their advice and in general. Thank you!

I visited the GP DR Hasnain with my parent and it was to deal with a condition that they did not want to discuss or accept. The doctor was so thorough asking lots of questions and doing lots of tests. She was so kind and understanding as she could see it was very upsetting. She went through all the things that were discussed and advised what tests were needed next and she discussed the probable diagnosis in a calm and easy manner that did not cause further distress. I cannot thank her enough as we have now got the process moving to get a full diagnosis and hopefully some help.

For 5 different reasons - thankfully non of them life threatening - I have been into the Surgery and on the phone quite a lot in the last three months. I’ve seen Doctors, Nurses, Reception Staff and without exception everyone has been kind, efficient and friendly. I couldn’t ask for more from a Medical setup.
