    Great that I have the NHS app, because the clinician who called me coded the wrong entries for me. Apparently I have a child. Careless and has a huge impact on my patient record, and still not corrected.

    It seems this surgery is getting worse than it was. Now the receptionist rings you to tell you your personal blood test results and advise what diet we should be on. Can't get an appointment with a Dr and you call to speak to health professional at 8am after being in queue for an hour, they call you back at 6pm.

    I have explained many a time that I am at work when the perspiration is open and the receptionist normally sorts it out for me,but today I have to be late for work to ring them up

    I has just hung up the phone let me add the second time today because I want a doctors appointment. I have been to the surgery twice in the past three weeks I have been seen both times by a Clinician I have Tinnitus which has a pulsing sound in my ear night and day and is really getting me down plus I was put on blood pressure tablets a week ago, that was after paperwork I handed in got lost and I had to resubmit them, I'm 76 years old. No doctors appointments till Saturday. Disgusting Service

    I had two telephone appointment last Thursday and this both helpful and concise and tests organised in timely manner .also very helpful receptionist Very impressive and supportive

    Was completely dismissed several times during the appointment. Doctor was completely uninterested and seemed to think I was making up my diagnosis despite being diagnosed by a different doctor a year earlier. When I was given my prescription it was the wrong medication and I could not use it at all. I was given an external cream that could not be swallowed when what I required was internal medicine. So now I’ve paid for a medication that I absolutely have no use for.

    I need an asthma inhaler every couple of months, but as it's not on repeat prescription, I have to order it by phone. The prescription line is open from 13:30 to 14:15, but I wasn't even able to get in the queue, after calling at least half a dozen times because the lines were busy and the call was automatically ended. I've also recently waited 1.5 hours to order a prescription, as the telephonist who handles such matters decided to leave the office, without letting the other receptionists know. Although, having read a previous review, I now know that I can ask for it in writing, by dropping a note at the surgery, and I'll also request it on repeat, as using the telephone service realy is an ordeal, and it shouldn't be so. The actual GPs are great, but the telephone service is terrible. Regards.

    I have been with this doctors for years and have seen it go from bad to worse. I am supposed to be on repeat prescription however I am never able to order them myself. They have the prescription line open for 45 minutes but it is never switched on so you can't actually speak to anyone. Most of the doctors here are friendly and helpful but some do let the side down. Depending who answer the phones you can either have someone really helpful or someone who doesn't care and wants you off the phone as quickly as possible. I understand the job isn't easy but some training is clearly required. I would like to see the doctors improve however I wont be holding my breath anytime soon. Like I said there is a great team there but a selected few make the experience horrible and makes me dread calling.

    I have been a patient of this surgery all my life and it has steadily got to a point where the service is appalling / non existent. Attend the reception to get an appointment to be told to phone them as they cannot book anything at the reception?! Phone and on hold for an hour and when answered told to phone back after lunch. Another hours wait and told no appointments left and call back tomorrow. Despite this being for a new mother having given birth 2 weeks ago. And I’m not sure how you can be diagnosed or examined over the phone because of a refusal to see patients in person!?

    I called the prescriptions line on 10/03/2023. The line is open from 1.30-2.15. The recorded message told me I was Number 1 in the queue at 1.55 pm. 32 minutes later I was still Number 1. I had to hang up because I was calling in my work lunch hour. This is not the first time this has happened to me. This is just one instance of a terrible service this practice offers. I could go on and on. I would not recommend Stopsley Village Practice to anyone.

We advised all other patients either to request prescription online or to put in request by hand on reception.
